The Master Class is in chalk pastel but you can use oil pastel, it is just a little more resistant to blending. You blend with the pastel rather than with your finger and if you have a spare bit of oil that can be used as well. If using oil pastel make sure you put a peice of grease proof paper between your work and any other surface. You can also use watercolour or any medium of your choice if you dont like pastel. Prepare to get messy.
