A senior couple who run a stylish boutique in Yamagata have moved from a standalone house to an apartment as part of their second life.
They entrusted architect Kumiko Ohuchi to design their new home, creating a space that beautifully highlights their collection of antique furniture and decorations.
By leaving behind the house where snowy winters often restricted their activities, they seized the opportunity to declutter and create a light, vibrant environment where they can age gracefully.
