THIS! It's unfortunate that there's rarely given a real answer as to WHY this happens. I was diagnosed with FD over a year and a half ago and am currently in recovery after almost losing my life. Search studies on it online. Good research incl maybe role of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs) - pacemakers that regulate gi motility - deficiency or dysfunction. Always DYOR and don’t rely solely on others to.
