Hey, just a life hack. Us truck drivers have free unlimited showers so just stand near the trucker fuel desk and wait for someone you feel comfortable asking and say hey, could you spare a shower credit? They will always say yes. We do it for each other! We are always willing to help. Not all are creeps lol. And sometimes the loves people will just give it to you because they know the shower prices are ridiculous! Love your videos.

Not knowing where you're going to sleep each night adds to the wildness of vanlife, but those amazing spontaneous spots keep us going!

Hey Nikki! Just a quick one. Please remember to deactivate the passenger airbag if Rodney is sat there like that. With camp on the seat the van will sense someone there and deploy the airbag in the case of even the smallest frontal impact. Don’t want poor Rodney getting injured! ❤

It probably has a weight sensor like most modern cars have! It wouldnt be a good idea to deactivate all together since she does have passengers every once in a while

@@colby7027 agreed. And i think camp would be enough to trigger that. There should be just a key turn switch somewhere around the glove box or by the door. To temporarily de activate it.

Make sure you have a hide A Key somewhere for the one time you do not find your keys .

I don't understand people that live life on the road! I took a road trip last week from Tennessee to Indiana and both ways I was stiff and sore by the time I got where I was going! Blessings to you, the truckers, and all the road warriors out there!

Different strokes for different folks! With constant discomfort and daily pain that varies, driving is no fun for me. I got back a week ago from a vacation where the furthest point was 8 hours from home. The first part was actual for out of town work but luckily I have a top of the line Chevy diesel truck to pull my trailer and a fairly comfortable air mattress with a mattress pad heater that I can now run on the lithium battery upgrade I just did. I only drive as necessary and can't wait to get to my destination. I envy those who can be relatively comfortable driving long distances, so I live vicariously through youtubers who travel and enjoy seeing the parts that are interesting or different while being more comfortable behind my computer.

Just wanted to add, at the Grand Canyon, you can see the curvature of the Earth as well! Wish I can post a pic to show ya!

My mother died 30 years ago. She kept her keys on a bangle bracelet which I now use. I got my daughter one (15 years ago) and thankfully we always have our keys. 🎉

Like I said before Nikki I've been following you for 4 years since you started your channel and I really loved your father he has awesome sense of humor and he speaks Spanish like you he speaks Spanish like you you got a lot like him us are fun I'm glad that you're doing great and your family too❤❤❤

Maybe consider installing a shower awning tent suite unit like from KickAss that allows you complete seclusion from peeping eyes. Super easy to deploy and stow away when done. Also, look into a simple surf poncho that folks use to change out of surf gear on the beach. Usually made of microfiber, pack small, and quick drying. Use it for changing in and out of clothes for your outdoor shower, or even around hot springs and such.

Camper and Rodney give you a wonderful wake up in the morning, I miss that :( You find such beautiful places Nikki. It sounded like you had a bad throat starting, so hope you are okay. Really happy you got to spend more time with Justin. Looking forward to seeing the camping with your parents x

The VanEssentials rear shower curtain is such a high quality add on for a not high price. Magnetic but holds on strong winds and covers all holes in the back area when attached. Highly recommend it!

Oh wow you were hanging and seeing my peeps, the dockdogs dock jumping and watching the sport I do with my puppers 🙂 My NevadaPuP who is now gone (lost her at almost 16 in January 2020) 💔 is a dockdogs Hall of Fame ❤She was inducted in 2019 and was still alive at the time. The GoPro Mountain games are so much fun. I was there with my Nevada when it was the Teva Mountain Games. It was all the same events though. One of these days I hope to go again. Glad you got to experience that 🙂
