Josh really said “Nobody can sing my songs but me” 😂 the RANGE! Like I usually have to really practice for a while to get the highest notes in a Marianas Trench song but this song has notes that are too high for me AND notes that are too low for me! It’s going to take FOREVER to improve my range enough to come ANYWHERE CLOSE to being able to sing this 😭😂😭😂😭😂

I'm UGLY crying on my bathroom floor rn. this music video and the lyrics are all so well done and I think we all can relate to wanting to just break out of our "normal lives". and stop listening to what other people say "normal" is. this song has a little bit of everything from fix me to phantoms. It's the classic MT we all love (synths, orchestra, screaming, harmonies, repeating chord progressions) but there's also something ELSE. Something NEW. and I'm crying bc I remember the first time I heard this band in middle school I KNEW there was something great about them. I will never stop being in awe of how intelligent your music is. The lyrics are so well put together and evoke so much feeling from us listeners. The musical arrangements add so much to the storytelling of the albums. Not to mention all of the ways you call back to musical motifs from past albums, but adapt them to the current album's style.
