I would grab a transport from grab instead even if it runs the budget a bit higher, because smelly people is something I cannot tolerate next to me. I don't drink or smoke so my budget would be low like yours. Living in a place is always different from visiting a place. This is my one of my dream locations, planning to stay 5 months out of every year there.

7 baht for a water bottle but if you buy 7-11 House Brand, it's only 6 baht. Mineral water costs around 10-15 baht a bottle at 7-11. BTW, if you have a chance, I want to see you eat my favorite dish: Duck meat on rice (Khao Na Ped) with pickled ginger and water spinach. My housing village has quite a lot of food stalls but none sells this dish. If I have a craving I must go far from home to have one.

I've been following you for awhile dude. I dig your scene bro. Extremely helpful. I recently just sold my 1100 motorcycle. I had that bike for 25 years. 50 years plus riding motorcycles cross-country trips and riding up and down the coast of Southern California and when I saw you getting a little putt around bike I cringed. 🤕 I will either walk, do the baht bus gig or take a bolt taxi. Six months and counting until I chill out in Jomtien beach. ✌️🖖

I am 2 meters tall and 105 Kg. but I can eat in any cheaper country for 4 to 7 dollars a day. Use the water dispenser machines all over Thailand to drink water for 1 baht a liter Bring your empty bottle.. I see light eaters like vegetarian women easily eat for 3 dollars a day. And please do not bargain for most things and not aggressively.

good info as always. Maybe as a side hustle you could make some of your daily expenditure back by flipping deodorants on the baht buses 😝
