    I've always been jealous of the trails you have close by. I've got plenty of trails but man I've gotta ride for ever just to get to them. That's why I originally built my auxiliary fuel tank. But then I never got through all the fuel in one go without something breaking!

    I know you said that these are referred to as “race motors” but as you know a lot of the people buying these motor kits are now just regular people for everyday use, so using how your talking about it makes more sense tbh. Also not sure if they got it by you but you should try to buy ethanol free gas for your bikes since you have such a large fleet and ethanol free gas will hold much better.

    That old gas, Put some in a Altoids tin and let it set 10 min. If you see beads on the bottom of the tin, I would bet it is water alright. To make sure, Take the tin out away from the house or shop and light it. If is snaps and crackles. You know for sure water is mixed in. I like the build you are doing. Waiting on the outcome.

    That pipe is good as long as you cut the header off and make your own because it's restricted with a smaller pipe inside of it well mine had it at least. Also I recommend cutting the muffler in half then put the cap/tailpipe back on, it helped mine a tiny bit on power and sounded better.

    Thank you for your videos, it basickly brouth me to motorised bikes. I am still confused about the Minarelli conversion kits. I watch also the DLH performace videos an it is not clear to me whether the cylinder is 70 ccm or 50 ccm which will result in 70 ccm with the spacer. Also would you tell what is the thikness of the spacer plate? Thanks

  • @LAHover

    @LAHover

    Жыл бұрын

    The spacer is 10.25mm if your stroke is 40mm. 38mm strokes will use a thinner spacer (9mm~ I assume). From what I have gathered, the original Minarelli cylinder (marked 49cc) used 40mm~ bore and a 39mm~ stroke. Some companies would bore these jugs to 47mm. We than added these to our bikes. 47mm bore, 40mm stroke, 69.4cc.
