I think Sidge made some good points idk why ppl are calling him grumpy. Dude loves AEW and holds them to the highest standard cuz he knows they can be that great

They call him grumpy for his WWE takes I’d guess. Even though he’s very clear in where he’s coming from (and seems to be right most of the time as well.)

Great breakdown of the Ospreay/Take match! I don’t get how people can’t appreciate the sheer athleticism and body control of these athletes. These guys are like when you get those freak athletes coming into the NBA/NFL and you’re just wowed at what they can do.

I love Sidge in AEW reviews He’s been getting a lot of hate for the WWE review (rightly so he’s began to act in bad faith) but when actually invests in a product it nice to here his genuine enthusiasm His criticism is clearly from a good place on these reviews

Something something something moaning about Sidgwick. (More seriously, bit gutted to miss Hamflett for the interplay on this particular show - not on twitter so interested to hear where he's at)

I'll say this major praise I'm not a sting guy through out his career but I jumped up and woke people up. When he got the win. Like my team won the Super Bowl. And that's hard to do to a 40 year old man

No one else should have bled on the show except Darby. Why do they continue to do one of the same things that hurt Crockett ? Women's tag match on pre show was good shit. Great effort and well done all around.

I think if TK swapped the spots of Eddie/Bryan and Garcia/Christan, then swapped Storm/Purazzo and The Scramble the matches would've flowed better.

1:14:36 just to be clear - what happened when they used real glass....Darby was cut everywhere, could barely work the rest of the match, and required stitches afterwards. So I GUESS 'tee hee cm punk' but a bit more like the meme where the guy pisses his own pants and when the crowd laughs at him he thinks 'rent free'

In ring stuff for DG v Christian was fine but the ending was horrible and I think DG should've won. 8 man scramble had the right winner but felt like a pre-show or Dynamite match and anything involving Jericho right now feels forced and toxic, and the women's match was under whelming and Deonna just isn't getting over and I just can't get into her matches. Everything else was great.

Women’s match was really good, the issue was it was put in the bathroom spot of the card. I almost feel like it should have been after the scramble.

@@GingeTillGrey so he looks at it as an holistic overall how did the PPV make me feel, and. on first reflection in the moment of each match it was an almost perfect PPV, then, and he is a critic so is kind of paid to do this, he looks a little deeper amd finds those little things that pull it down a bit, or those things that where missing that would have elevated it. Overall this was the best PPV this year by any promotion, it blew anything WWE has done so far out the water and, unlike prior AEW PPV's the storytelling leading into it was brilliant it was not just a bunch of thrown together matches. But there where issues, and Sidge is very fair in calling them all out while also talking about what was great.
