Tammy's message reminds of the time I was rushing to accomplish things. Then, I realized that if I get to live 80 years, what I'm going to look forward if I've done everything I want in a few years? I learned to enjoy things in a slower pace.

Landon's surprise segments have been such a fun addition this Vlogmas! Once we found out he sews on the go on top of everything else, we all knew you had really hit the jackpot! 😊 Also loved to see everyone celebrating the parallel parking win, it really is the small victories.

It was very surreal watching this while in the middle of a tropical storm here, so hot and steamy. I applaud Landon for being a self sufficient gentleman which shouldn't really be so amazing, but it actually is.

Loved watching this video Morgan as I was also at the Comfort and Joy concert last night with my husband Jim. It was my first time going to the concert and seeing all your video clips brought the concert back to me. I loved it! I have 2 bingos on Erica's Christmas Bingo sheet now. Oh my goodness sweet, wondrous, Morgan... this vlog really tugged at my heartstrings and resulted in some tears. Short story long, PDX born & raised in Milwaukie & Vancouver. I fell for high school friend who became an Airman right after university which has necessitated a move from the PNW. While so grateful to see parts of the world I only dreamed of visiting (I've called Japan home for 6 years whaat?! 🥺🥲😍) my heart has mourned the loss of such a beautiful home and a community and dear friends. I discovered your videos several years ago specifically the Powells content but have been relishing your channel ever since. I just want to express how much joy your videos (especially Vlogmas) have brought me they are a love letter to Portland & the PNW and I'm so grateful you invite us along on your festive adventures and encourage us to find the magic in the every day little moments of life. Merriest of Christmases to you dear Morgan, Landon & Monsieur Roo sending you all so much love & light from Okinawa.

The shorter days are hard to handle for sure. BUT we are very close to the solstice and the days will only get longer from there. I'm ready for daylight saving time again.

Hi Morgan Landon carries a small sewing kit I carry small first aid kit and it did get used on a friend who cut his toes under a steel chair at a cafe! They have a couple of good weaving/mending vids on YT, Landon to check out. You did a great job. My Father learned some sewing repair in the Navy. I learned hand sewing from my Mother who in turned learned from Granny. Mending is a beautiful art actually. Granny used to say the best thing about mending was bringing something UNwearable back to wearable. Lol. I have a beautiful lacey, gray, hand-knit shawl from England that is a delectable treat for moths.😂 Thank heavens the open, cob-webby pattern hides all the reweaves.

About the moth holes on Landon's dark sweater: there's an old Spanish phrase that goes something like this: "At night, all cats are black." It's good to see that this inconvenience did not make a damper on his day. Blessings to all!

Wow, these messages are getting my emotions all stirred up in a good way. One day spoke to my new mom self, and today's spoke to my future mom self. What a beautiful hindsight image of what life can be like on the flip side of raising children. I feel like that could easily be me talking to my past self. And what a great way to take that advice and help me find myself DURING the season of motherhood, where you do seem to put yourself on the shelf, to then remember you're there at a much later date. Gosh, these videos have brought such Christmas cheer and reflection. I pray this community feels loved. Thank you Morgan!

Your videos cheer me up😞. My family and I are going through a rough time once again during Christmas, my only grandma is very sick at the hospital and I can’t cope with losing her. December used to be my favorite month of the year but since my brothers death and two of my uncles, now I loath this month. I tried to like it once again for my baby girl who is only 1 but.. it will make it harder to enjoy December and the joy of Christmas when my sweet granny passes to heaven. (Still I’ll try for my bby, to give her the same happy Christmas as I had when little) 💔

I'm from Brazil so my cell plan doesn't allow me to send a voice message 🤣, but I want to share mine in here anyway: Morgan, I have been watching your videos about a few years ago, and in last year's vlogmas I was in a bad place in my life. I was depressed (but didn't know), and, although I always loved your videos, they also showed me what I did not have in me: Christmas spirit, joy, love, contentment with the little things. So I didn't watch them all. This year, I moved to another city to be with my boyfriend, away from my family. The adaptation process increased the sadness and anxiety that I have been feeling for years. I took courage and saw a psychiatrist, started taking medication, having therapy every week, and making efforts to feel at home in this new place. 6 months later, I can say for sure that I've got it all in me: Christmas spirit, joy, love, contentment. I'm not missing one video of yours. They are making me so happy now. You are really precious and deserve all that you are living, Mo. So, I want to encourage people who are feeling the same way I was last year, if you cannot see happiness in anything, if you don't feel able to love or being loved, consider seeing a professional. Take your mental health seriously. I assure you the next year will be so much better. Hi Morgan! I’m so enjoying your Vlogmas videos. I was so impressed with the way you parked your car! That’s a true skill! My son lives in Portland and I’d love to know the name of the noodle bar where you had dinner before the concert. I’m going to have him take me there the next time I visit. It looked amazing ! One of his “fun” part time jobs is working 5 of the theaters in Portland and you and Landon went to one of them last week for the Tea production (I forgot the name…sorry).
