@@Alexs23743 have you read Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, written by Edwin Abbott (under the psuedonym 'A Square')? For whatever reason, your comment reminded me of it. It's a short novella (like 120 pages, I think?) about a square who lives in Flatland (a 2d universe). He meets a sphere and most of the rest of the book is them trying to understand each other's world, along with the inherent difficulty in doing so (much as you would struggle to understand a 4D beings reality). He also has a dream in which he meets an inhabitant of 1-dimensional space, and one from _zero-dimensional_ space, which is pretty brilliant. It's a truly fascinating book, and perhaps the most original story I've ever read in my entire [very book filled] life. Apparently it's supposed to be a satirical metaphor regarding the overly hierarchical society of the Victorians, but it's more interesting for it's examination on how dimension and form affect each other. If you find geometry/math/philosophy interesting in the slightest, you'll definitely enjoy it. Anyway, I figured you might enjoy it since your profile icon includes your last name and the word 'publications', leading me to believe that you MIGHT be a writer. And if you're a writer and as nerdy as I think you might be, you might enjoy reading! A stretch, I know! It's just that that book has brought me so much joy, and I enjoy bringing others joy, so this is that. There's _probably_ a clearer way to phrase that but I need sleep so I'm not gonna worry about it. Can you tell that I'm NOT a writer? ;) (no offense intended with the nerd remark, I promise! Hell, I read textbooks for fun, I don't think I'm allowed to use that word in a derogatory manner)
