Clearly had to give the floodgate a powerful blowout card as well! I'm still waiting for the card that acts as Pot of Greed and Gravedigger's Ghoul that can only be activated if you control Skill Drain

@@ygofrom0 yeah it was played in virtual world because the deck can make Beatrice and sent either unity or yu-jo friendship. Pretty funny.

Thanks for pointing this out! That is a shockingly bad card I'm surprised they even printed that lol.

The eternal return of chaos. Macro strategies will be something that keep coming up since the game really likes printing strategies that need cards to hit the GY. It is the kind of deck that seems invicible if you do not prepare for it. Counter Fairies are a really interesting deck type that sadly has to live in fear of Royal Decree. Destiny Hero are a really good example of GX jank: cool looking cards that range from underhelming to almost unplayable. EOJ D-Heroes at least have the excuse that they were designed for the anime and not adapted for actual play. Overrall, this set aged better than the 4 previous GX sets. Icarus Attack, Diamond Dude and Cyber Phoenix see heavy play in GX/5D formats , E-Emergency Call will be played in every HERO deck from now on and Banisher/DFIS/Macro and Guard Dog will ruin quite a few games. Destruction of Destiny, funnily enough, sees play by SelfTK Master Duel farm bots.

Lmao about the Selftk bots, I guess every card truly can find a home somewhere. But i agree with your breakdown of the new decks and strategies added here. I think part of why i like EOJ as a set so much is that it really is one of the best mid GX era sets since as you say it has aged incredibly well.
