@8:11 & ff connection between getting out of poverty and hard work as well as the connection between doing something creative and making money has been broken. In a nutshell this is the problem. Hard work doesn't pay, it's almost a nostalgia for a time when we operated with this equation in mind.

It all centers upon how the monetary system has been conceived and implemented. The current system is foundationally monopolist. Change or reinvent how money is conceived and functions and the whole system will change.

There are no more workers and the content of this very word has been redefined. People are being demoted to the status of biological appendages of the algorithms that structure the provision of services. They have no contact with their bosses, only with the interface that automates the work to be carried out, recording productivity and defining payments to be made. In Brazil, according to the new Supreme Court jurisprudence, these workers no longer have labor rights. They are slaves in all but name. And like slaves in the past, they are also discarded when they grow old or die working. Technology is not freeing anyone except the neo slave masters.

The sooner we get a green deal to have the long promised West Yorkshire Metro the better. How can the workers have good wages and be productive without low energy efficient public transport. The government must tax the likes of Black Rockies and invest in a good Metro.

So much wrong with pushing the green new deal, praising FDR's failed policies, believing that government creates jobs, attacking free speech, nationalizing railroads, misunderstanding the commons, criticizing Thatcher who rescued a moribund economy, not understanding how government regulations have given to the rise of concentrated finances and "monopoly capitalism". At least some support for nuclear power from Eno.

Enironmental crisis is the people. To say AI is not posing environmental concerns is ignorant. Saying taxing the rich, politics also as they are credited after by tax dollars, and 5013c and churches only brings 1% is inaccurate. There is all the wealth. To allow farse of shell companies to hide wealth is the obvuous. Humanity will always be less valuable in this way as humanity is tue economy. AI would calculate this. Having a tax on printing money is the flaw. The fee to print money does not and never has never will exist. You call this imaginary money. Jaque Fresco called out the foklishness of this game when he said the value system is broken. The monatery sysyem is the entire problem. To destroy the planet to make profit then claim profut utself is not the problem is the problem. Jaque Fresco had the majority of his blueprint accurate the problem are those leading who will never be sustainted on the power and control they never needed in the first place.

Yanis knows nothing about how society develop. He uses terms like finance and he has no idea what the word means. The EU (Netherland, Belgium, France, and Germany) had to bail out Greece with billions of Euros a few years back, because Greece is run by people who thinks like Yanis. At the end of WWII, Churchill and the British Army had to intervene in Greece and keep Greece from joining the Soviet Bloc Countries. Yanis means well, but just like Mao and Stalin, Yanis has no idea how the modern world was created and how its trading system raises the standard of living for its people. The great thing about open liberal societies is that we all have the right to say what we think. In an open liberal society we also have to think logically about what we hear. Think about the words presented by people like Yanis, Marx, ... and other Communists. What is AI? What is climate change? What is fantasy? The Communists are the biggest liars in human history.

"At the end of WWII, Churchill and the British Army had to intervene in Greece and keep Greece from joining the Soviet Bloc Countries" - or, rather Stalin agreed to stop helping Greek communists fighting against monarchy and fascism in return for having Eastern Europe, in particular Poland. Without Soviet help, the Greek uprising was crushed, and a fascist junta came to power helped by the U.K. and the U.S.
