We should consider showing Debs kindness & thoughtfulness with the questions we ask and expectation we have with the care of the foxes. She has always, imo, given them the very best care and attention to all their needs 🧡

That's right Debs, you helped the babies survive. Without you they might have died. Now it's time. that they learn how to get along in the wilderness without people. Foxes belong in the forests where they can be FREE. They cannot be humanized. I often have foster dogs myself. Yes, it hurts when they have to leave, but you know that they will go to a better future. And so a place becomes free again to save the next person or people. Debs, THAT is our job!!!

Debs, you are going to be so utterly lost once these 2 little loves go back to the sanctuary! Love watching them play and Magoo is thriving now, he looks wonderful. You are 100% correct that they need to go back and learn to be wild foxes, you have given them an amazing strong start and a safe environment to grow up in!

For other fox lovers who don't know how orphaned foxes are raised to be released back into the wild: Wildlife Aid and other channels have videos showing how it's done. As Debs described, they must learn how to survive from other foxes--we can't teach them that. SaveaFox has a video explaining how it's similarly done with a wild stoat. I've learned a lot from these channels. ♥️🦊

Rescue/fostering is incredibly rewarding but also heartbreaking. Doing what’s best is sometimes so hard. How lovely to see new furry faces visiting 🧡🧡🧡

You are exactly right in what needs to happen to Simon and McGoo. People just want you to keep them because they know how much you would love them but they do need to be free and wild. They are so fortunate to even have had this chance of a free life thanks to you and Second Fox Rescue. They will be just find together once released in a forest somewhere and not the city. ❤❤❤

When one is fostering puppies it can be difficult to let them go but at least you know they're going into a good forever home. But Simon and Magoo are going to be headed out in a few months into the harsh world to fend for themselves. I hope they find someone like Debs who feeds them on a regular basis.

Releasing them should be celebrated as a great achievement as you did everything you could do to ensure the best life they could have: A life the the wild where they rightfully belong! Bless you Debs as you have been a the best mum they could have ever hoped for! ❤❤❤

I know it will be heartbreaking for you to let the cubs go but we all know that they must. Its just sad knowing we will not see them again. We just wish the best Fox life for them. They DID get the BEST start to life. God bless you and keep you, Deb. ❤️

Those two crazy little foxes are wild by nature. Once they find the other foxes at St. John's, they'll learn who they are. When they're released into the wild, where they belong, they will adjust and enjoy their lives. It's hard to let go, but it is the right thing to do. ❤

Releasing the cubs back into the wild after gradually reinteracting with other foxes is best. When your paths cross in the future, they will remember you. Stay strong 💪. You always knew what the purpose was, and you'rve given them a secure and safe period in their lives of love. ♥️🙏You're got an extended family of grown ups that are living wild but need all the support you have to offer them. ❤👊

How exciting!! I don’t recall seeing any other cub that young before, though we knew Chip had them. Also it’s sad that some people are so ignorant and cruel to badger you about keeping Simon and Magoo. Most of us understand that would not be fair to them and that they need to go back, and that fox pups grow up into fox adults who can’t be trained like dogs and make terrible pets. We are so happy for the chance to meet these little darlings and grateful to you for caring for them!
