honestly i so don’t mind whether you blog about exciting things or even just what you ate in a day! so relaxing to just be able to put your videos on when doing art. this evening i felt anxious about having been out for lunch and then having leftover takeaway for dinner, but just being able to eat while your video on really helped.

I found it so freeing last year to come to the conclusion that I have undiagnosed autism. It made my ‘fear foods’ so much clearer to understand because they’re not fears, it’s sensory processing difficulties associated with having autism. Notion and forest are amazing for organising and motivating yourself to do or finish things.

Something really interesting I read the other day about neurodivergent diagnoses in adulthood (as someone with a late ADHD diagnosis and investigation for autism) is that one of the reasons people don’t believe we have neurodivergence as an adult is because we had to grow up learning to mask the behaviours and learn to fit in - so the behaviours we naturally want to do are diminished, so it appears we don’t have ‘typical’ neurodivergent behaviours. So it’s not your fault if you’re not ‘typical’ in presentation. I hope this helps anyone on this journey! Don’t stop fighting for your diagnosis! Love you Ro, forever inspiring us all ❤

I’ve never commented on a KZread video before but I just wanted to say how much I loved this video. I have a skin condition on my face and therefor have very imperfect skin and I really appreciated seeing you in your natural state without a filter etc faking “perfect” skin, it makes me feel a lot better about myself seeing someone else look beautiful regardless of imperfections. You look lovely without makeup :)

Just here to say to anyone that needs to hear; being 'put together' / having makeup on / hair done etc. doesn't = the best version of yourself. Ro, your best version of you is the authentic you and we love you just as you are! 🧡

It started as just being curios about EDs and the affects they have on people and people around them but now I watch because I just think you are an amazing and inspiring person. It's been wonderful seeing you recover and come back to life. You're very courageous and I can't even begin to imagine all of the souls you have helped throughout your time on KZread. hi Ro💗a few months ago, I started recovering from a full blown relapse in my eating disorder. Your videos helped me, seriously, helped me, me and my mum sat down at every meal and we just watched you (in the least creepy way possible hahah) and I genuinely have come so far. Yesterday when I saw you uploaded again, I was having a hard day, but not in an eating disorder way, in a self confidence way, my skins been breaking out so badly (my therapist thinks it’s due to returning hormones) but it’s really been affecting me and yesterday I went without makeup for the first time in so long and to be honest it made me feel awful but when i saw you talking about your insecurities regarding your skin I genuinely beamed because I felt so seen. Thank you Ro, you are the most calming and thoughtful creator on here💗🫶

Like it's the right rhythm for the start of the day and gives this nice "good morning" vibes. love ya Ro!

Being diagnosed with ADHD can feel like the worst and best thing, in my opinion. The worst is because you feel like people might change their opinion of you and treat you differently. The best being that you finally have answers to things you've always struggled with. I was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism (and a few other things) a few years ago, and it honestly really helped me understand why i do the things i do and feel the way i feel. It can feel hard but you'll be ok. And im proud of you for being ok to share this as i know how hard it can be ❤❤

I have AN and CPTSD and a level of neurodivergence and my biggest barrier is not being able to be in a room or space by myself with the door shut because of cptsd. It’s disabled me for so many years and left me homeless, but I’ve had a bit of therapy now and some improvements have been made and it’s soooo inspiring to see where you are with your ptsd barriers now because I can see hope that one day I’ll be more independent too. I am on the waitlist to get diagnosed. It means a lot to hear you mention your journey with getting diagnosed because lots of women go undiagnosed and fight to be recognized as someone with ADHD who isn't outwardly hyperactive. After all, the current diagnostic criteria mostly surrounds young hyperactive boys.

In the clip where you talk about vlogging "un-put-together", honestly all I thought was how deeply blue and nice your eyes looked? No fibre in my body thought about why you weren't "put together". Make-up or no make-up doesn't make you worth any less, you're the same person.

Genuinely when you had no makeup and your hair in a bun, I thought wow she looks so cool and pretty here and then you started saying how you hadn't even got ready yet and you wouldn't ever normally show yourself like that. Isn't it strange how our brain makes us see flaws and imperfections that others just don't even notice.

i wish i could go on a walk alone bc i just learned to be home alone and i haven't been able to leave my house / walk to the bus alone. I always need company to do these things so that leads me to only being home / only being out. do you have any tips / motivation for those struggles ? x
