Sorry if this is off topic for the video, but I followed the link at the end and the story in that one made me think that you might have an answer for me. Do you know any Scottish or Celtic stories about a deer with a tail as long as a horse's? I've seen one, and it's a bit of a long story, but the only thing in legend I can find is Asian, which is a bit far from the mountains of North Georgia.

Yet another instance wherein the artifact is fascinating, but the greater treasure is its story. Well done, Bruce.

Bruce, Look up the Mooghaun hill fort and the gold hoard discovered in 1854 when the railway was being built. It was found outside my great grannies family cottage. Right under their noses for how many generations?! 5 kilos of gold torcs and armlets. It’s in county Clare Ireland.

@@ScotlandHistoryTours - Bruce - Just an idea for your upcoming tours or a history segment. My sincere apology for my altruistic ramblings but I've not yet really plumbed the depths of a clan without a clan chief. I'm fairly certain that part of this situation was due to the scattering of the clans after the Battle of Cullodin. My mother was an Anderson and when visiting Scotland with family in September 2017, we missed experiencing the annual gathering of the Clans at Edinburgh Castle. It was quite a sight as I later watched via the magic of KZread. I've since learned Clan Anderson is recognized as an armigerous clan by the Lord Lyon King of Arms; however, the clan does not currently have a chief recognized by the Court. Is this unusual for a clan not to have a clan chief? Some of my research - Clan Anderson - description - Lands of Candacraig - historic seat. The Anderson family held the lands of Candacraig from the 1500s up to 1867 when it passed to the Forbes. Candacraig House was built in 1835 and may also incorporate the remains of a previous castle.

Any time Scotland beats England it's a bbiigg win and the lads on the pitch were being gentle with the English. For the sake of their dignity when they went back home, of course.

Since early childhood I've seen future events, some trivial, some important. What it's shown me, is that that life is definitely an illusion largely constructed by our memories, and when the body drops, our consciousness enters the timeless. The first memory of "second sight" I can recall was of this old man walking out of the downstairs bedroom. I must have been around three year old. I asked my mother who he was, and where he went, as I'd seen him a few times. So I described him and the type of clothes he had on. Turned out it was her father, who had stayed in our house in the months before he died. A good 8 years before I was born. He used to say my name, and then simply wasn't there. As for future events, I foresaw the birth of every nephew and niece, each of my own children; time and date of birth... and this was mostly pre-gender tests. I saw the girl I'd meet and marry, though she was from a city and I, a country guy. I've seen the winners of football and horse racing, even though I've never had an interest in either, so that aspect has come in handy but did get me banned from many bookies, even online! Some events we have to meet, others are kind of open ended, with great scope for play. It's almost like the free will debate and just how much we actually have, but some things we cannot avoid no matter how hard we try. I have tried to change future events, but they played out anyway in spite of my efforts. Little details different, but same outcome.

The first Rugby International ever, (Scotland v England), was played at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh. The ground of Edinburgh of Edinburgh Academicals. The first ever match at Murrayfield. (again Scotland v England), was in 1925.

That's a strong possibility. The probability depends a lot on the season of the year. Very few air conditioners other than in public buildings and some of them might be heat pumps. Hydro, Nuclear, Wind both on and off shore, Solar, which amazes me, have in some months exceeded Thermal production.

😜I highly doubt that these were looted from Ireland. Many Irish people migrated to Scotland for centuries. They probably brought these with them.

That's pretty impressive for Scotland to beat england in the first rugby international!up there with Glasgow Celtic putting Scottish,nay British,nay northern European football on the map for the first time!😊

It was interesting to hear London centred news describe Celtic as a British team and the next year an "English" team won a different trophy. However, I don't know the proportion of Scottish players in the English team.

The first gubbing of England took place at Raeburn Place, the Edinburgh Accies ground. After that it was my old team's ground at Inverleith. It wasn't until 1925 that Murrayfield was used. Is there a video to be made about rugby? The 7s and Ned Haigh?
