@@user-vq2rc3td7d "Your" ancestors surely did much worse. Hope you feel bad for them as well. Oh, wait, I don't know anything about you personally? Oh, I apologize. And fyi, thee with poison darts to go around, I have knelt upon the Trail of Tears and prayed and pressed my ear to the ground, and you know what? The truth is the Cherokee still cry and they also still sing. Have you ever who do accuse of unbrotherly sentiment blindly, simply to strike out, ever heard such singing? I rebuke you for your condemnation of a stranger unseen. Fair? I do say these words gently. But do not pretend you are Worthy currently of the Sacred Hoop. Duh. Obviously. Any other malicious comments? Go for it. You will find deaf ears.

I don't think that Tibetans should thank us. Because, it is our Sacred duty to protect Tibetans and it's Buddhist culture. Bharat will protect you as it's own till the end of the time. Instead, I think that both Hindus and Buddhists should thank Lord Buddha to have given us a wonderful religion and philosophy.

Of course. I wish to see Independent Tibet soon. May be, we can call for a plebiscite once the Tibet in China becomes independent. And Taiwan too. Sorry. Taiwan is already a free country. I wish to see independent Xinjiang too. Muslim oppression by Han Chinese. And Hong Kong too. It is a wonderful city. It takes time. We have to slowly make thousand cuts to make those things happen.

@Pine Joi you are right that there was no country known as India in South Asia because the term 'India' was coined by Greeks. Indian subcontinent is Akhand Bharat which includes present day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangaladesh and India. In Ancient n medieval times Bharat and China always shared a good cultural relationship. Buddhism, Martial arts travelled to China from India. Then the Communist party rose and destroyed this good relationship

my dear friend Pine joi ,dont be worried about whether Buddha was born in Nepal ,India or France!it does not matter, what matters is the practice of Buddhism!! there is not enough time in one's lifetime to get engulfed in pointless matters instead give your time to improving & purifying yourself, that is the only goal for us humans to keep evolving into higher forms until we attain Nirvana or oneness with all!! the core principle of Buddhism is non existence of self!! if there is no self ,there are only imagined & transient identities! Groups ,nations, borders are imagined/artificial entities accordingly!! what is important is how committed you are to conquer yourself, which means letting go of ego ,attachment to ideologies & becoming universal!! let go of anger/fear/desire then Buddha will belong to you & you will belong to Buddha!! Namaste!

on the question of India - i a m not going to debate , so this my final reply ,i know that it was called Sindhus/hindustan/Sintu by persians, arabs & the chinese respectively from my reading of history since atleast 500AD!! south asian term is of recent origin even later than 1947!! There is no self means ,there is no permanent thing called an identity which a person has ,his self/identity is constantly changing just like a river flowing a few kilometres away is not the same river it has changed!!Self has a form but it changes every second! similarly you have no permanent identity ,it keeps changing ,your talking to me has changed certain aspects of you ,as do your other daily actions, so dont be fixated about the small things & think in inclusive & positive terms!! reincarnation is possible but i am no one to decide on its finality! but think in such terms ,if you are today chinese in another life you may be born as Indian or american ,all humans irrespective of race religions nations are equal ,we all have some bad points & we all have greatness within!! to defeat the ego within & bring one in touch with the universe is the true purpose of religion/spirituality! if you are chinese try to study the similarities between Upanishads branch of Hinduism , zen Buddhism & Taoism!! you will be surprised by how similar they are & how much sharing of Knowledge & culture was undertaken Between India,China & Tibet since ancient times! specially wrt concepts of Yin/yang & Traditional medicine!

Yes, please do not adopt a racist behaviour by making judgment towards others of different colours. brothers and sisters are beyond colours. khandro rinpoche is tibetan, pure tibetan and her skin color looks like the skin color of southeast asian. My mom always looks down on them (south east asian) saying they are dark. she also keeps saying i am dark because i am not too fair as a chinese. my skin tone is perhaps closest to samdhong rinpoche. my mom on the other hand is extremely fair. i really admire tibetans and bhutanese. they have people of different skin tones but they never look down on anyone. brothers and sisters should be beyond colors. understanding, and tolerance are the true display of brotherhood or sisterhood.
