Azadi - A Tribute To India’s Great Freedom Fighters | Narrated by Annu Kapoor

“A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance…”. India’s stifled soul found its voice when a brave soldier rose against the British army. From Mangal Pandey to Rani Lakshmi Bai, from Subhash Chandra Bose to Mahatma Gandhi, thousands of brave men and women fought valiantly against the atrocities of the British Raj. While many selflessly gave their lives to protect our motherland, others embraced terrible hardships. The freedom we enjoy today is the fruit of their united struggle. Come celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day with BYJU’S as we remember these brave warriors who sacrificed their lives for our independence.

I am from Assam. Most of the indians doesn't know about the sacrifice for their nation from north eastern people. Most of the great leaders like Gandhi ji, nehru ji, bhagat singh ji, netaji all are them the majority part of india. Not from north eastern states. But this video shows that to fulfill the dream of independence north eastern people has a great contribution. Great video. One India always 🇮🇳

well , you see , these 'dead' fighters are not dead , they never can nor will be dead because , even the smallest amount they put to free our country has made a lot of big differences so do not refer to them as dead because just because they had lost their lives in this , it doesnt not mean that they're dead , they are as alive as a yound horse in the hearts of every indian that ever existed

As a citizen of Bhutan who lived in India during his youth, I must say that the ending of this beautiful video never fails at making my hair stand on end. A beautiful representation of the, at times overlooked, collective efforts of great men and women throughout history who have contributed in the waving of the tricolor flag. Especially appreciate how we see Badshahs, Peshwas, Ministers, Soldiers, Commanders, Revolutionaries, Scholars and all the fighters of the Indian motherland march alongside one another in unison. With teary eyes and a prayer of auspiciousness I say, Vande Mataram.

It's time for us to give our golden bird her beautiful wings to fly and protect her every bit possible. Yes, we can never do what the great fighters did, can't even get the guts to think of such big sacrifices just with the reason for us to live in a free country, but yes, we can promise to never hurt or harm through any means to our Golden Bird.
