The void century, the soul of One Piece's world, won't be revealed at once, but will probably be revealed in batches, BIG batches, each happening in a different arc (depending on it's connection to that particular event) & each one getting bigger than the previous... until the biggest/FINAL reveal of it happens in the ending stage/arc of the story

The Adam/Atom tree being a petrified tree has always been in the back of my mind because its lauded for being super old and hard to cut. For context, a petrified tree is a super duper old and hard fossilized tree, that sometimes can have traces of uranium in them. They usually require some sort of flooding and volcanic activity to be formed in the first place.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. Assuming Hancock & the others who were with her in chapter 1059 weren't seen or mentioned in this chapter, perhaps there's at least a slim chance for any of them meet Luffy before leaving Egghead ends and/or heading to Elbaf. 2. It's no surprise that Oda deliberately had Vegapunk be partially clueless on these details. However, it does made me wonder if Robin will end up revealing the rest on his behalf. 3. When reading the part about how Vegapunk mentioned that Joy Boy had Rubber powers, I am curious if anyone will try connecting Luffy to his ancient predecessor?! Who knows, perhaps the Barto Club might be the 1st people to connect the dot!

Nika might just be a mythological figure (fable from Elbaf) and the fruit got created from people wishing Nika's existence, as VP said the origin of the fruits is people's desires.

A&Mu means Atlantis and Mu for me, the two mythical lost kingdoms. One Piece is a very elaborate rip-off of Mysterious Cities of Gold, and there the two kingdoms that destroyed each other and created a post-apocaliptic world were Atlantis and Mu. In there there were also three ancient weapons and weird aliens who sought immortality.

I think we will see a flashback of a young Doflamingo exploring Castle Pangea soon and be introduced to the Gods Knights as a faction.

I feel like we are not gonna get the Joyboy flashback right away. Because if we get it next chapter, Robin would be useless. I think that Robin should be the one telling us the truth of the world Or if we get Joyboy stuff, maybe a glimpse of his shadow or something we should know. Maybe two panels of flashback and then it will continue later on. It's like a tease, you know

But instead of suffering an pain he is thriving and having fun adventuring many follow him but nobody leaves paradise without gods permission ...so a war ensures and the ancient kingdom destroys itself like in disneys atlantis movie and joyboy is busy saving as many lives as he can during the great flood but he will not be able to stop "the sinking"...so he leaves behind his will and an apology to those he cannot protect in time as well as a promise to one day to return to finish the job... The remannts of the kingdom try to regain power and authority for that they begin erasing history and taking control of key technologies... What do you think

My take is that S-108 stands for the atomic mass value of "silver". If that's the case, this is what i theorized from this chapter: The Mother Flame was originally developed with gold in mind. The usage of gold is problably due to its resistance to heat and conducting of electricity. That ties back to Enel, Skypiea, Shandora and Ark Maxim. There was no way for Vegapunk to clone the gold fruit, since the gold gold fruit is NOT canon according to Oda. The WG is rich, however i'm not sure if they could get as much gold as it's needed for this massive project. At least without breaking the economy... Perhaps, Vegapunk brilliantly adapted the Mother Flame's blueprint to use silver instead. That parallels a moment that happened earlier in the Egghead arc, when he said that the cloning of Kaido's fruit was a failure, even though they were similar in size and function, with just the color differing... But i do believe that all the other meanings for the number 108 are important. Oda is really diligent with his wordplay. I swear he thinks like a rapper... 😂

Obviously, whatever happened is so important that Im and the Gorosei don’t even want those enjoying the spoils of whatever happened to know the truth.

Vegapunk said he only scratched the surface about his void century research. He’ll give us information about the void century that we didn’t know yet but probably more of a teaser, kinda like a trailer for the void century flashback

I’ve seen a lot of this stuff scattered around in theories or discussions so it’s nice to see someone actually compiling it all into one theory. Hidden Island has a Rome Piece theory from back in the day that I think ties to this really well. I actually think the story of Icarus is all over One Piece in different forms. Icarus made wings out of wax and who is the one who freed Ace? Mr.3 of the Wax-Wax fruit. Ace flew too close to the sun and he literally melted by Akainu’s punch. I also find it interesting that the thread of Ace continued with Luffy using Red Hawk underwater. And now we have the mother flame literally engulfed in water. Now Luffy is attempting to fly too close to the sun and it was just at the end of Wano where Sanji and Zoro were named the wings of Luffy. There is definitely something going on there.

108 is also the atomic number for Hassium which tells me that the mother flame is product of cold fusion which does explain why its submerged in water. i wonder if vegapunk was aware that york gave the WG some of the mother flame to fuel a weapon or does he feel like him chasing the ancient energy source led to him researching the void century for it to feel like a sin, im guessing its the latter since pursuing the power source was his first sin and he has no regrets too

I love what’s going on but it’s crazy to me that will get a Void Century flash back before we . Even receive a Gods Valley Flashback not going to lie I’m more interested in in Finding out more information on Rocks D.XBec Than Anything

Yo that Atomu and Imu idea is interesting!!!

It should be addressed that the Mother Flame inside a liquid tank within the large machine is analogous to a Nuclear Reactor. Which have to have the Nuclear Fuel Rods submerged in water to suppress the heat that would cause a nuclear meltdown otherwise. It is the heat from those radioactive rods that boils the water that produces the steam used to power the electric generators in a Nuclear Power Plant. 🔋 So both the Mother Flame and a Nuclear Reactor have something insanely hot under a water cooling system and could bring unimaginable Fallout if that system fails.

There's also a parallel between Vegapunk's heading suspended in a fluid and the mother flame. Mars' comments whether Vegapunk (via his brain) is still alive because of his brain. In that case the mother flame may also be "alive" like the flame of a Lunarian, and the A in A&MU might also be a reference to Alber which obviously sounds similar to Albert as in Albert Einstein and thus is directly related to Vegapunk.

Oh yeah I was looking forward to your review chapter of 1114!! Man we ate up some good void century and Joyboy lore. I got a feeling Vegnapunk is going to give us a taste more of this hidden history but it’ll ultimately fall to Robin to uncover and share the true history. Something tells me that Imu is going to be angrily contacting the gorosei somehow and be like “Why the hell are our secrets going out to the world like this?!?! Stop it this broadcast even if it means nuking the entire island!!!” The gorosei would probably be like “but lord Imu if we do that we’ll lose access to the production of mother flame and…”. But Imu makes the decision for them and proceeds to use another mother flame on egghead, with Saint Saturn being caught at ground zero of the blast as he is at the mother flame production room where it explodes on him too hopefully!!!

Another thing i found interesting was the fact that when Vegapunk mentioned the Void Century all the Celestial Dragons that heard it were flabbergasted by the mention of it. So not only are the celestial dragons finding out about this too they're also finding out that the government kept a huge secret from them. Vegapunk out here being a menace. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the celestial dragons don't demand answers. Cause in their minds they're the ones that are the highest on the totem pole

I think the revelation of Joy Boy being the first pirate tells us that the ancient kingdom was not all the way good. Maybe better than the World Government now, but why should Joy Boy have become a pirate if there was no suppression of freedom (assuming his motivation is akin to Luffy's)? Maybe Joy Boy even wanted to bring down the Ancient Kingdom but got tricked by Imu, who falsley offered help, making matters even worse. Anyway, I love that Joy Boy is a pirate rather than a "shiny knight of the Ancient Kingdom's royal army" because it opens so many possibilities of what the relationships between the ancient kingdom, world government, Imu, and Joy Boy could be.

Hell could sort of be considered as an underworld and we know the holy land is hell thanks to Sabo and Imu seems to be kept their eternaly… I think Imu might have stolen the Mother Flame way back. Imagine having to nuke everything you helped create because things got out of hand…

Part of me hopes that the Gorosei will succeed in cutting Vegapunk's broadcast short so that Robin will be able to uncover the rest of the secret history herself. Similar to how Clover was shot before he could say the name of the ancient kingdom, Vegapunk's broadcast getting cut off would leave us with a good cliffhanger and give us time to mull over the big lore drops he opened his speech with.

just a random theory, what if the moon itself is the thing that shoot laser and annihilated lulusia similar to like death star. The reason why the sea rise to 1 meter because of seaquake and the moon is closer to the planet and the gravity affecting the sea as you can see the silhouette right before the laser is fired.

Before I even start the video, in Japanese & is read as “to” so A&Mu could be read as “Atomu” which is exactly how the Japanese would say atom in katana.
