Hello Niamh! Bluebells are one of my favourite spring flowers along with snowdrops. Do you have lily of the valley growing in your garden? I'm very fascinated with it and hope one day I can smell it's fragrance from a real flower. Thank you so much for creating and sharing these beautiful videos with us each week! Love and best wishes from from Australia 💕

We've planted corn in our garden. And the rabbits wouldnt leave even a single cob for us. We used try to stop them from doing so further. But eventually we start coexisting and grew the corn for them instead. Both of us were happy. Coexistence brings so much joy.❤️

We live in the hot southern part of the US, but we have a short time of spring weather, May/June. This is when our hydrangeas bloom, and my house is "cluttered" with vases of flowers everywhere. This year the bushes are huge! I love the idea of putting the food scraps right into the garden soil. We keep a compost pile all year where we throw all our scraps, then use the soil to add to the garden. Your way is MUCH more efficient. I also thank you for sharing your love of wild flowers. Some we consider "weeds," but this year, I made my husband to leave the areas of our back yard with flowers when mowing so we could enjoy them. The birds love them TOO!

I don’t know why, but cleavers have taken over our property this year. Usually whatever grows in abundance during a specific year is stuff that you need that year. Like, all around us was flooded with plants for the respiratory system last year. Maybe we’re going to have a problem with our skin cells this year. I shouldn’t say that. 😅

Bluebells are so ethereal. My neighbour had some taking over her veg garden about 4 weeks ago so she gave all of them and I put them in a huge vase on my kitchen balcony table. They lasted a month and my neighbours told me how much they loved seeing them on my deck too 😊 it's the little things sometimes that bring the most joy. I've struggled with anxiety off and on this year (it was part of a severe reaction to a medication I was prescribed and it lasted months) and during the worst of it in the winter I'd watch your videos for hours on end in the background and it would really comfort me and remind me of the joys in life and that things would once again be good. And they are now. ❤

Such a wonderful way to start my Sunday; with a video from Niamh. I love to watch you putter around your garden. I always learn something new! We have growing in our garden here in New Jersey four different types of lettuces, spinach and several herbs. Soon we will plant vegetables. You are right; there’s nothing better than going out to your garden and picking your salad! The lettuce tastes soooo much better than store-bought. We have so much right now we have been giving lettuce to all our neighbors. Everyone is eating salad and staying “ regular”! 😉 Thank you for another beautiful, soothing, magical video! 🌿

Such a lovely video, Niamh. Thank you! I spent time in our front yard (pretty much, all day) yesterday, planting flowers (finally getting warm enough) and pulling weeds and hoeing. I’m really feeling it today. I wish I had a place to put a garden of vegetables in, but our little backyard is all shade, lots of trees and wild honeysuckle. Have a hard time getting grass to grow back there. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Those bluebells are so beautiful! The bunnies here go out of their way to go into the kennel yards. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. I got a 33" raised bed this year so the bunnies and deer will be out of luck but nothing stops the squirrels. I grow tomatoes on my deck and this year I'm planting extra because I so enjoy how thrilled they are with the tomatoes and the extent they will go to get a couple. At least they don't take everything like the bunnies so I don't mind sharing. Will be interesting to learn how the peas do with the corn. Thank you for sharing your morning!

We live in linked homes and I dug up the grass between us and planted flowers and vegetables. I do her front garden bed too. I just dug up more of my front lawn and planted more vegetables and flowers there.

There's a lot of people these days who throw folliage into a cup without rhyme or reason, which can be okay, but I feel they should be used with purpose - such as your yarrow and cleavers tea as an immune booster! I recycled old glass when my neighbour got new windows and I just popped them on seeds I planted and it did the same effect. Ireland's weather is unpredictable and something as simple as glass on top of pots works wonders. Also, my mother in law told me human hair mixed with homemade compost works wonders. I recently shaved my partner's hair off and already his hair is helping my weeping willows growth. And I was also told toilet rolls are great for sprouts ready to be put into the ground. Dig your hole and place the roll in followed by the plant. It helps them grow without weeds intertwining with your plant. And the toilet roll will decompose into the soil 🥰

A Native American planting scheme known as the three sisters, is similar to your plan with corn and peas. It is a combination of corn in the center, beans around the corn which will grow up the corn stalk, and squash or pumpkin around the outer perimeter. The three vegetables provide nutrients to each other and the large leaves of the squash act as a mulch to protect the tender roots of the beans and corn. I’ve been interested in this idea for years and definitely will try it this growing season. Thank you for your always inspirational videos. 😊🪴

My neighbor calls corn “poor man’s fern” which always makes me smile. Would you consider sharing resources on how you learned all the properties of the herbs you pick? And how you got the confidence to actually go out, find, harvest and then ingest what you have picked? I would love to do the same but am fearful I will pick the wrong thing! You are so inspiring. Thank you for the info on sticky back! I know it as cleaver and I never knew you could make an immunity tea from it! I went right outside to my garden and harvested some to dry. Yea! A new plant to forage! :)

I'm rewatching your videos once again to bring some calm back to my life. The gardening tips are great. I just bought a small greenhouse and am excited to see how things go in the spring. 😊

I found I could breath easier when I was up right, also I felt better sitting in the sun. My mother passed from it . Good luck.

Gardening is one of my biggest passions - I've gardened since I was a child (my parents are huge gardeners too so I guess it rubbed off 😁) You may have to help your corn along by shaking the pollen down to the silks, it's self pollinating but needs wind in order to do it 😊 but oh my, fresh corn from the garden is out of this world. By the way, here in New Zealand we call Cleavers 'sticky willy' 😄 a rather unfortunate name!
