Given the current climate of the country, teaching the constitution to children is more important than ever! They need to understand the powers of their pens and voices. I’m using all this turmoil as a great teachable moment in my homeschool. A more perfect union can only be created by intelligent, self-controlled citizens. Is that what your local school is turning out?

  • @jameseverett4976

No, they're turning out kids more concerned with their feelings of sexuality than anything else, as if their moment to moment changing perception of their own gender is the reference point of all existence, and that they should be in a state of constant gender conversion therapy as their feelings ever so subtly dictate.

The story of the birth of the United States of America is, for me, one of the most absorbing and fascinating chapters of western civilization. So interesting to learn that many people at the time predicted the failure and/or collapse of this fledgeling democracy, and the many obstacle that stood in the way of the 13 states coming together as one nation.

One can't present a more simple, yet thoroughly clear message on the constitutional bedrock which was laid down by America's founding fathers. Congress's delicate handling of this "Scale of Compromise" has been one never-ending teetter-totter in ensuring America and our world stays in the real game of "Freedom and Justice for all".

Mr Robert Morris informed the members assembled that by the instruction & in behalf, of the deputation of Pena. he proposed George Washington Esqr. late Commander in chief for president of the Convention. Mr. Jno. Rutlidge seconded the motion; expressing his confidence that the choice would be unanimous, and observing that the presence of Genl Washington forbade any observations on the occasion which might otherwise be proper. General (Washington) was accordingly unanimously elected by ballot, and conducted to the chair by Mr. R. Morris and Mr. Rutlidge; from which in a very emphatic manner he thanked the Convention for the honor they had conferred on him, reminded them of the novelty of the scene of business in which he was to act, lamented his want of (better qualifications), and claimed the indulgence of the House towards the involuntary errors which his inexperience might occasion. (The nomination came with particular grace from Penna, as Docr. Franklin alone could have been thought of as a competitor). The Docr. was himself to have made the nomination (of General Washington, but the state of the weather and of his health confined him to his house.) - James Madison's Notes, May 14th

When our nation was first born, and GWashington was sworn in as our first president, he went to what we now know as ground zero, and prayed, dedicating this great blessing we call the United States to what Christians call GOD ALMIGHTY, and thanked him for our great victory, George Washington also WARNED, that if we, as a nation, ever turned from God, we would fall!!!! Even Ben Franklin said, this is a REPUBLIC, IF WE CAN KEEP IT!!!!!!!

Great video. But why can’t anyone ever get Washington’s age right. I know he’s “the father” of our country but Washington should only be in his early to mid 50s here. This actor looks 70. It happens in almost every show or movie.

maybe it was a sign from god. do you ever think he fears our obsession with him? do you wonder if he cries in desperation of the humanity he created? do you believe he looks at us with shame? perhaps maybe we should treat him like he is one of us.
