WATCH IN HD Here is a longer more detailed walk-around than the other video that I posted of this XM920A1 owned by Soni Honegger. Shot at the Arizona Military Vehicle Collectors Club show in Phoenix, AZ on January 25th, 2014.

Thank you, I think so too. The cab/windshield area reminds me so much of a 50's or 60's Peterbilt, the beauty, then there is the heavy haul military aspect providing the beastly part.
He also owns the baddest rock buggy in the world!
Hi Pal and the old 10 tons were a lot heavier on the drives and winches. The boulder hole has 10 ton rears in the stockpile truck, a DM-800 and it moves 40 to 50 ton loads all day long. I used to herd their RD-800 and it was the same way, same rears with a 12-speed and 350 Mack. Looked like an Onan power unit for hydraulics or a generator. C U!
However,it's still an M920A1 that has been heavily modified. There never actually was a "XM" designation for the M915's-M920's from CCC/AM General. This particular truck has a Cummins ISX-600 which the owner swapped into it and replaced the original NTC-400. The transmission and driveshaft aren't original either.
where can I get the fording kit? what's the depth of that fording kit?
Nice truck...
Muy buen equipo pesado ese Camion Trailer mula del U.S. ARMY una belleza me gustaria saber cuanto cuesta?Los Americanos construyen buenos automoviles, tanto, militares y civiles.
It’s a well decent ‘nothing weird or oddball’ truck :o) You could get it fixed damn near anywhere on the planet :D I like simples stuff.
What’s the compartment behind the cab? I was kinda hoping to peek inside there

I would liked to have seen inside too, but I don't know the owner and I didn't get the VIP tour. I think I remember hearing he converted it into small sleeper/camper type arrangement, but I couldn't confirm that.
I'd like to drive this bad boy !!

The M915's-M920's & A1's all used the Cummins NTC-400's.

Probably a dead thread for you, but this monster is engine swapped with a Cummins 600 signature series, I know the transmission was swapped out to but not to what.

I don't know. This is the only one I've ever seen, and I don't know if the owner has modified it to look like this or if it was built this way. It sure is cool looking though.
