@@HoodrichShinobi So all men and all women are the same? All men deserve to be in their childrens life? All women do too? That's news to me. Last time I checked anyone can be doing shit to their children when nobody's around. It's ignorant to say such a thing. Some men don't deserve to see their children. Along with some mother's. Sometimes it is in the child's best interest to be away from one parent. My parents were happily married, I'm happily married, with a daughter and we'll always work it out together and yes for her. But that's something we both agreed to. You can't force someone else's hand in things. And I know growing up my friend who's parents would fight were always so depressing to even be around. And last time I checked, it's up to God to judge. Not us internet warriors. ☝🏻 Do you even have kids? Do you actually respect your wife? Do you watch porn while in a relationship? Glance at women's cleavage? Cause a child seeing all of that is just as bad as the child seeing the mom hoe around. Both are saying the other parent isn't good enough. All I'm saying is your grass better be the absolute Greenest if you're coming at anyone like that. ☝🏻🙄

Why? It's the truth.. Its biology. We humans are geared to think this way biologically to procreate.. Why procreate with someone who already has kids? That's competition and a potential hit on the longevity of a connection by the woman flip flopping and a waste on energy. A woman at 30 often has around 100,000-150,000 eggs in reserve. By 35, that number is likely around 80,000. Late into the thirties, that number could be 25,000, 10,000, or fewer. Women at the time of birth have about 1 million eggs and at the time of puberty have 300,000. Only 300 to 400 will be ovulated during their lifetime. Eggs once damaged or ovulated do not grow back. In terms of survival the best option would be to procreate with 19-25 year olds which has been done since the beginning of man because it was the best chance for survival and passing genes. You dont have to like it, but it is what it is.

People are in love with the notion of a perfect family but in reality unless you’re mature enough and financially stable a child often breaks couples up. I have previously been pursued by a single mum but I’ll be honest I didn’t really want to be anyone’s stepdad when I didn’t have kids myself and you go straight into the relationship having to be a father as the kids biological dad did the bare minimum and was always with its mother. But I did the right thing and didn’t mess with her knowing I had no intention of taking it further than fun. There’s loads of guys that do take advantage by dangling the relationship carrot.

It's not about all women being the same, it's about standard base line of attributes that people look for in choosing a mate. There is always exceptions but exceptions are always in the minority. Anyone who travels alot, has children, is financially unstable, has severe health problems, large amount of debt, history of being unfaithful, been divorced, has many short lived relationships and so on will have more difficulty in securing a high value mate. I'm not suggesting she qualifiies for all of those, just offering some examples. Without context, these are considered red flags and typically correlate with higher probability of resulting in a failed relationship. Again, it has absolutely nothing to do with marginalizing or generalizing women, and everything to do with individuals (men and women) analyzing risk with pair bonding.

Even if we wait til marriage and have kids with a guy (AS YALL SAY WE SHUD) if he decides one day to walk out, we are left devalued? Cuz we have a body and kids. Yeah no. It's perfectly fine for men not to want to date single mothers. It's the rudeness that's very off-putting! Firstly he's sitting there addressing single mothers like they are a group that's diseased. And he's also acting like he's so superior for choosing a woman who doesn't have kids. The funny thing is men are visual creatures. If you give them the option of dating an unattractive, chubby woman who doesn't have kids vs a slim, attractive woman with a toddler.. I can bet you my last dollar, he'll pick the woman with the kid. He'll even be telling his friends "oh she only has one kid, plus her child even has brown hair like me! He could practically pass off as my own son!" Besides like she said if the woman with no kids is an airhead or is selfish, mean and narcissistic.. would you really prefer her over a woman who might have kids but is a nicer, kinder person. I personally am not open to dating single dads. But I don't go around laughing at men who are single dads, scoff at them and tell them that no woman wants them! You can have preferences without being a jerk!

As a 39 year old man, never married, no kids. Most women I have dated have had children. Definitely hard to find a woman close to my age that doesn’t have children already. I have never minded dating women with children. As long as the lady is the kind of mother I would want for my own children, I absolutely don’t mind. And if there a shit mom, it makes it pretty easy to see them for what they are, and keeps me from wasting her, or my time. I can see what this guy is “trying” to say, I think, but it comes off harsh. Things that are negatives for some, are positives for others. It’s hard to generalize all the context and content that makes ppl attractive to some and unattractive to others.

A truly virtuous man views kids as a blessing and would willingly adopt children with the right kind of wife. Joseph, the father of Christ did not turn down Mary or Christ, who was not his blood. Joseph is humanity’s model of masculinity next to Christ. A true high value man feels generous with his wealth and resources and doesn’t stingily dole them out to only a select few. A true high value man understands that he is a role model to all children and it is a blessing to serve and guide them. A true high value man embodies the benevolent king, willing to give freely to those around him and share in his goodness. He embodies the qualities of Christ, he feeds the multitudes. Mikhaila seems to have found a true high value man in her new husband, but whoever this guy is, he’s dead wrong on what the qualities of good character are.

It's more complicated than being young and childless. Looks, connection, life story etc matter too in the modern world. That's why it's so difficult to date these days, and may be why many people marry several times. When you feel good with someone you dont want to look else where. But yeah the safest option is always to date someone with no kids, I am 24, I wouldnt want to be with a much older man that already has kids and a past etc.

No, a PERSON really is not. Deluded Western people operate under the fantasy that all life is valuable simply for existing but this is only a perspective cultivated through a dissociation from nature which is brutal and amoral. Everything our culture cultivates is sweet little lies from santa to every woman believing she's a princess. You think you're intrinsically special and have to bring nothing to the table until any and all biological worth is used up and you're faced with the brick wall of reality that you're not special at all.

Those in the comment section has failed to see the implication of dating and marrying a single mother 1. The woman has control over the child when divorce happens. If the man is emotionally attached to the child, he becomes damaged. 2. Toxicity of the biological father and sometimes the women going back to their baby dadies. Women tend to prefer the type of man he choose to have a child with in the place. You are a replacement and she can sometimes choose to go back or cheat with the baby daddy. All these are facts, not hating on single women

No, this is after she married a handsome, intelligent successful man, had a kid (kids?) with him ... and then divorced him and went and hung out with a bunch of balloon-animal guys from the gym. (Apologies if I got that wrong - google says she had a kid with her (now) ex-husband in 2017) Sources: just google "Mikhaila Peterson gym" and "Mikhaila Peterson children" and you'll see. That's not to say she's wrong and the guy in the video is right, just that this isn't a hypothetical discussion - at least not for her. The guy in the video is making an 'all else being equal' comparison between two theoretical women in the dating pool, who are both valuable human beings - but one has kids and the other doesn't. And the guy is saying that the one without kids is going to have an easier time of it finding a high value guy (whatever TF that might mean) because those kind of guys will prefer the woman without kids. I think the argument can be made without reference to 'value' - simply by saying that (again - all else being equal) dating a woman without kids is fundamentally less complicated than dating a woman with kids. It's not that the woman or the kids are bad, it just (self-evidently) makes the scenario a lot more complicated. The problem is that in these discussions a lot of these internet pundits talk at cross purposes. The guys talk about women's 'dating-value', and the women they're talking to don't hear that, they hear 'value-as-a-person'. And _of course_ everyone has equal value as a person, so to them the stuff the guys is saying is clearly non-sensical. Here Mikhaila is taking that typical confusion and compounding it by being unable to understand the form of an 'all else being equal' argument -> which given who her father is is an astonishing comprehension failure on her part. I think though if you understand that the topic is a lot more personal for her than for the guy she's talking to, then it makes sense that she would indeed filter the message through a morass of emotional stuff and it gets twisted like that. As for her split with ex-hubby, as far as I'm aware she hasn't really talked about it (except in this clip), and that (AFAICT) the ex didn't want to divorce, she was the one that was driving it. The problem is when she says she was unhappy and decided to end it ... that could cover everything from she was subject to horrific abuse to she was bored and/or thought she could do better. So she could be upset because she (as the vulgar saying goes) 'fucked around and found out' (perhaps even literally), and thus she's upset that her decision has consequences. Or at the other extreme she could be upset that something horrible happened to her, she got out of it, and now that she's out she doesn't like that (through no fault of her own) she's now locked out of a certain portion of the dating spectrum and thus unfairly denied.

Men are not in short supply, decent ones are though, which is why they are worth waiting for. Edit: stop it with the mansplaining comments, I don't need you to rephrase his argument. It's condescending as hell. If you get offended at the thought of women leaving a man who is abusive to her so much that you feel personally attacked and try to tell her that she won't find love, guess what? -you're not one of the good men those women are waiting for. By agreeing with him you're basically putting a big neon sign above your head saying "I'm not a man of quality" . My mom has found happiness, been in a committed relationship for 8 years, and she's been proposed to multiple times along the way but waited for the right person and it paid off. Stop assuming shit. You'll pay for him, you'll give your time for him, your wife will giver her time to him but it still won't be your place to discipline him or to tell him what to do or not do. And if you end up having a good relationship with kid, bonding with him, and then the relationship with the mom isn't working out anymore, well say good bye to the kid cause you ain't his dad and you'll never get the rights to see him. One thing lead to another and now we have two dogs, live together, and my son calls him dad. Plan to move across the country so I can go to medical school in 2024- a year from now! I would not consider my “value” to be less because I have children. The individuals who aren’t looking for me aren’t even on my list to begin with. Having children and being single has opened up my eyes on how I view dating. I am looking for a man who is a role model for my children. How he treats me is how he is teaching my children to treat their future partners and people in general. What I’m blessed enough to see is how this man will treat me and once I am a mother and how he will treat my children. I feel like a lot of relationships fail because they “say” how they will be as a partner or a parent and when that comes to fruition it’s no where near who they actually are. Everyone is riding the wave of hope and delusion. As a single mother, I get to see how they are after these life changes and I get to pick the right individual for my life. So in a way it’s a blessing! Unfortunately my 12 year marriage didn’t cut it. I chose to walk away regardless of what others thought of my choices because I only have one life and I don’t plan to waste it on someone who doesn’t deserve my energy and love. Everyone live your best life and follow your heart and happiness. Life is too short to care about how others view you as.
