This is like the 3rd time I saw Mr Robot being extremely precise with its timings. What a minor, irrelevant detail that they actually went for. This is why I love this show.

White rose is such an intriguing antagonist. Her dialogue is always so unsettling. Even something like her smoking seems contradictory. She is obsessed with time yet engages in a vice which statistically reduces her time.

I came to this video just after seeing him as a gambling addict in Focus. And I was reminded he was a scientist in Jurassic World and made aware he's Dr. Hugo Strange in Gotham, the dude's got RANGE.

The introduction of Whiterose is lit af.

To those of you wondering, a honeypot is a system that is left intentionally open and vulnerable to attack. The idea behind this is that when an attacker gets into the system you can monitor their activity and figure out how they got in, what kind of exploits they used, and what it is they’re after. They are very popular in the community for threat intelligence gathering. This presents a problem for WhiteRose and the dark army. Accessing the system now will tip off Gideon as to what they are up to and what they are after. It has also been isolated from the other machines and E-Corp’s network which will stop future attacks dead in their tracks.

She's right I hear hourly targets in my job if I can't hack the webserver or do the injection then that site gets moved to the next hacker. There's a team of 4 of us. The boss then rings up the company saying we have found the vulnerability and he sends that site to the programmer who fixes it for a price. I don't know how much he's earning. I'm earning shite money so hoping to not work for him.and just go it on my own. People think it's big money but it's not. There's so much work involved so much hours involved sometimes I ask myself am I waisting my time because I want the big hitters I want big bucks for my skills the years I've learnt and ok barely making ends meat. Mr robots good and most his hacks are true and out there. But it's harder than that and your expected to do the work on the cheap and on time if not it gets passed to someone else or software that just automates it.

I never watched this show but his acting has me hooked. Plus, it's just genius writing. The entire cast is amazing but this dude...my God he's mesmerizing. The work he puts in when there's no lines of dialogue. When he's non-verbally reacting to something. You can see the wheels turning in his head. Little micro-moments of realization. It's literally as good as an actor could possibly be.

BD Wong is a GREAT actor. I was just watching "Nora from Queens", and he plays such a sweet, relaxed Dad... But his work as "Whiterose" is a masterpiece of acting. Very interesting, unconventional and subtle. Great writing, great acting.

The acting, the editing, the direction and cinematography in this scene and in this show is simply superb! I masterclass of filmmaking!

I really like the attention to detail. Wearing that white suit purpose is so not to get dust or foreign particles into the room yet he was eating in it. When Whiterose came she was clearly smoking inside the room. I couldn't fathom what this means but its intriguing.

"...Arrive at the conclusion, is that what you do?" Meta. Love it.

And now in s4 he is kicking dark army's ass...episode 9 was badass🔥

@jacob f they didnt transfer it instantly they actually hacked the nearest cell tower with an exploit which took all of the dues members numbers to verify the transfer of the money with the bank ... They already had the resy of the info about the account and also the password of it ( they collected all of that info thru out the season) so this episode they they just needed the phone numbers of all of the dues members to verify the transfer .. Which they did and these transfer cannot cancel because it is the holiday season .. SO yeah its a genius plan its just that you didnt understand it

For me, this show haS been the biggest discovery of 2019 ( Im late on a game, I know ) I like the way creator of the show showed the life BEFORE and AFTER the crash down. And its so real. I can totally believe it happening. Yet its very realistic. Life WILL go on, but maybe not as apocalyptic as some writers/filmmakers imagine it to be. Rami´s delivery is undoubtable!!! I believe every word he say. And it goes so deep.... Like, right in to my soul... Sam Esmail is A GENIOUS

Good question. I've heard that Mr. Robot was initially written as a movie but they changed it to a serie because they got so much material. So I think they might already have a rough idea of the end, or at least of Whiterose's importance.

But you can't ignore that her being trans is essential to why she is so interesting. The reason she wants a reboot of reality is because she feels it has wronged her since birth, as she was born into the wrong body, and basically forced into a masculine lifestyle of assertiveness, dominance and competitiveness, which she paradoxically uses to achieve her goal to be reborn as a woman. All of these contradictions is what makes her interesting.

Lighting the cigarette and smoking whilst doing something on her schedule doesn't take any extra time really and I doubt she goes and buys her own cigarettes; she has her lackeys for that. And for a woman of her wealth, buying cigarettes is basically nothing. And SPOILERS ahead: If her machine were to work as planned, it wouldn't matter how much she smoked before activating it.

I love how this guy is always eating. Even in season 3 on the elevator lol

Note to all posters: READING BEYOND THIS POINT, MAY INDUCE OR INCLUDE A SPOILER OR RANDOM IDEA REGARDING PARTS OF THE MR. ROBOT STORY. CONTINUE TO READ AT YOUR OWN THEORETICAL OR HYPOTHETICAL RISKS. The question is, "How can the Dark Army and White Rose-Zhi not know about Tyrell's whereabouts?". Remember, Janice had the photo of Elliot and Darlene in the stolen car after they found the van burnt up. Janice sent Dom to take care of them, and we know how that went. So, if the van was originally doing surveillance at Elliott's apartment, and then Tyrell shows up while it's there, JANICE could know about Tyrell and Elliot being together. With that said, I believe JANICE would follow up on Tyrell's location (dead or alive) and send that info to the DA and WR. So, Philip Price uttered a play on words, and possibly took his knowledge about Tyrell's. whereabouts with him. Dead men can't talk, so the audience can only guess about the facts.

BD Wong is phenomenal in this scene.

It’s so bizarre I remember knowing this was supposed to be reality and I didn’t want to get got again after knowing mr robots secret. But I almost really believed she had hacked time. Her project was massive enough to almost entice my wonder that she had figured out something so primal and unwoven as Time travel except for her one flaw. She’s not happy. She doesn’t have everything she wants and she clearly cannot use time to get it. She has too much regret that she can’t fix or heal so I couldn’t buy it.

Not really that subtle. It's established from episode one that we are a voyeur inaginary friend/alternate personality that Elliot talks to.

What an introduction

The part where he says, 'i wish i could think calmly like you' is how his mental disorder began as a kid. The anxiety becoming painful physically and mentally, hence his face and uncomfort and constant state of fear, that people dont see under his painful confidence........ it is within this pain that he or one with d.i.d takes on a persons identity or creates one similiar to someone that looks like the opposite of the pain he or she is feeling, which is usually someone confident and calm. Sadly falling prey to fakely abusive confident 'nice' not kind people. The person with d.i.d creates as many personalities as there are uncomfortabilities to whatever topics the anxiety presents it self unto within his or her life...... :( the calm that comes over his face shows relief the sufferer gets from chosing another person to live as other than himself thats in pain and stress. This becomes an automatic "addiction" to them as a coping mechanism to avoid the pain.
