I never really feel like I need to collect everything in a series - but then when I see those uniform editions, it really makes me want to! It reminds me of collecting David Eddings’ books when I was a teenager.

The extra for An Inheritance of Magic was worth it, that book is amazing. The movie inspired by Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is Blade Runner, you may have seen it already. Awesome haul!

This video gave me motivation to continue buying books even though I am currently in a reading slump 😆 I love books but can’t seem to focus on anything 💔 I loved Mistborn trilogy and absolutely didn’t love the way of kings… it was soooo painfully boring!! But I do hope you enjoy it! Love your videos!

Nice haul! I have purchased around 32 books so far this year which is a lot better than I usually do 😅 fortunately I use the library and Everand a lot and that saves me a lot of money! But there’s nothing better than buying physical books…📚 Excited for you to get to the Handmaid’s Tale, the rest of the space odyssey series, Do Androids, Something Wicked, Children of Time, and Leviathan Wakes! Also, I always hear American KZreadrs talk about broken binding editions but I’ve never seen them in the UK! I’m guessing it’s the same in Australia.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has purchased a few and I agree there is nothing better than physical books. I should use the library more often but they don't always have the books I want. You obviously enjoy sci-fi and I am looking forward to all the books you mentioned. Just not sure when I'll get to them. It's true that I learned about Broken Binding through US KZreadrs. Shame the postage to Australia is high.

Wow, with all of those books, you are set for the season and beyond! Enjoy. Can't wait to hear what you think of them in the future. I have recently started a new series to me-Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear. I must have 8 of her beginning books from a library sale. I really like Maisie Dobbs very much.

Yes there are enough books here to keep me busy for at least a year or two. I'm sure you will hear about many of them in the future. Personally I didn't like Maisie Dobbs but I'm glad you are enjoying the series. 😊

Awesome video. I felt the same as you about Mistborn. Way of Kings was much better for me, but I still don't think Sanderson is for me. Also - what an amazing edition of the Mists of Avalon! Great taste in covers as always.

I've been a fan of Marion Zimmer Bradley for decades, and, of course, have the hardcovers of The Mists of Avalon and The Firebrand. I'm currently doing a re-read of her books - thus far, I've got up to The Bloody Sun [1964]. My greatest discovery of last year was Robert A Heinlein's: To Sail Beyond the Sunset, and found that I simply *had* to buy all the associated stories listed in the appendix (including The Cat Who Walks Through Walls). And, my recent secondhand book purchases have been the four Ayesha novels by H Rider Haggard published by Hesperus Books.

I haven't read all of Bradley's books but will have to look for more now. I'm very much looking forward to trying Heinlein. He is a classic sci-fi author. I might have to try Haggard in the future. Thank you for the recommendation.

It's actually a topic I've wanted to discuss for some time.

Long story short - you read everything fantasy / scifi there is ;) Looking forward to read Master of Furies from R.E. Feist, because I read everything from him. So if you could also later share a word or two about how you like this book, I'd appreciate it. BTW - is Wheel of time book series from R. Jordan that good? I've seen the Amazon Prime show and I liked it (finally female characters who don't just show their bodies). Thanks for your calm videos.

😂 Or I try to read everything fantasy / sci-fi though I do draw the line at some fantasy. Perhaps when I read the Firemane Mage series by Feist I'll consider reviewing it. Thank you! Wheel of Time is my favourite series and the show doesn't do the books justice.

I love the Witcher series books! I’m going to start reading that series after I finish The Locked Tomb Trilogy series by Tamsyn Muir. I’ve finished Gideon the Ninth and I am currently reading the second book Harrow the Ninth. I’m enjoying them so far.
