Jonsered are good saws, I have one 2171 and 2065 open port, Both are great and same as husqvarna 372 ,365.

Thanks! towards parts nice detective work on the saw, I have extra Fusor 143 fast plastic repair adhesive kits, i got from a closing down small engine shop, if you want to try to fix that tank for a back up, i could send you one to try if you want?

Thanks for the offer Man! I am planning to do a plastic weld attempt with an old soldering iron. Hopefully it will work out. Thanks again!

Glad to see you got her running MT. I never count my time in the cost of a saw - the way I look at it is I'd rather be wrenching on a saw than working on her honey-do list so it's my free time. haha. It was hard to tell from the camera angle in the vid but is the crank shaft centered in the case? Seems strange that the inside of piston would be worn like that without some sort of misalignment issue....

Yeah I look at it the same way. It’s a fun job for sure. The crank has me stumped for the piston wear also. Although everything felt ok, I still feel like it’s going to need bearings and possibly crank.
