Even though my kids are “all grown up” two still living at home and husband recently retired, I still need what I call “me time”! I love the jumpsuit for running errands or everyday living. So east to style up or down. A cute little cardi will take this through to the fall.

Glad you've had such a lovely birthday! A suggestion for the bathroom cabinet - painting it fresh white would get it past your thoughts about it being a bit dirty and also make it look like a built in piece in the bathroom. Then you can colour/texture it up with artefacts like large shells, glass bottles etc. Even a plant!

I just paint over the existing color . I've never had any issues . I love how humble you are always thanking God for his many blessings . Seeing joy in the simple things .

Dusty green would be beautiful on the cabinet! You can just paint over the white without stripping it. You scored big on the clothes! They all look nearly new. Enjoyed the video!

I loved that dusty rose ruffled nec dress on you... I think after you wash it you could probably hand tack the ruffles down so they would lie better... same with that pocket flap, so sweet that your husband allowed you the day to yourself. June babies are THE BEST! I know because my birthday is the 10th, lol. My husband asked me what I wanted to do and I said "Thrift"....

Your husband gave you such a lovely gift- time to yourself. I remember the years having young children and I would have been over the moon! (We love our children but alone time is precious.). I’m glad you had a wonderful birthday; you are a treasure to us❣️

I'd suggest giving it a good cleaning first, look if there's some kind of a mark, stamp, brand etc and go from there. Loved the linen shirt! What a sweet birthday you had! Dusty blue sounds like a pretty color for your new storage piece for the bathroom. The hammer you bought looks like the sturdy one in my husband’s toolbox; we have had it for over 40 years, but I think he got it from his father. I love the picture of the shepherd with his sheep; it tugs on my heartstrings. It’s nice that you found so many clothing items that fit you so well.

Hi Kristen happy birthday to you and happy anniversary. The content was excellent as always. I think everything you bought looked great. To suggestions with the red ruffled shirt just pin it or tack it and it will lay perfectly for you. The color is dynamite on you. Also the jumper with the front pocket flaps I would take khaki colored thread and just tack it because I think every time you press it it's still going to get pushed up. I loved that vintage framed poppy picture and the black and white sheep picture at that one sale! And now I see you got the sheep one!! The best people are yard sale people. I've met so many nice and interesting people saleing. That cabinet is really cute. I would definitely paint it. When a price is a little high at a yard sale or thrift shop, I alway think how much new pieces cost that are basically junk. Then I don't feel so bad.
