This was one of the incredibly good series abruptly canceled by know-nothing network execs. Jake 2.0, Firefly, Chaos, The Chronicle, Threshold, and the list goes on. They should all be rebooted and given a proper run.

it didn't work because it was heavily identical to the pixar movie "the incredibles" which had came out 6 years prior to that. now if that wasn'T enough, they took concepts that were heavily cliche on screen. super strength, psychic super speed and Maths ! there was tons of other powers they could of chosen, but no they decided to just redo batman, superman, flash and professor X for some reason... the fact that the story was a complete let down by the villain motivation of literally be just "i want you to love me" is ridiculous to say the least. the series deserved to be taken out, even thoguh it started well... after the mid point of the series, it was a complete let down.

after the mid point the series fell really short. that was not due to the executives, but to the creator who was completely out of ideas after only 4 episodes. the series was a big let down at the end. i mean the villain only "wanted her to love him" was a really ridiculous throw away joke ont he whole series. their powers were pretty boring as well... everything they did had been seen thousand of times during that time period thanks to the xmen and the super hero genre like the incredibles from pixar. it died cause they did nothing with it.

I hate when they just up end and cancel a series specially on a cliffhanger .

The main villain admitted to sexually abusing 3 minors only 3 years after this show aired. So even if it continued that controversy probably would have killed it.

Just when I started watching this again a few days ago, this comes out. Wow. 😂 I wonder if that's a coincidence.

I loved it, too... I still try to picture my thoughts out in front of me like JJ does. Helps me do math, sometimes. Though I have to draw it out like it's on paper. No magical answers just magically showing up, sadly

It was pretty good, maybe a little slow and light on the special effects budget in the first season so the ratings didn’t take off.
