I like that ability which allows Sanchaka to destroy one thing, then destroy everything else of the same material and shape. There ought to be lots of tricky ways to make use of that ability to outsmart the enemy. Like, destroy a nearby car tire, and the villain's car tires also pop.

I gotta admit, there are lots of moments in the movie felt rushed and forced to be in the movie. Gundala it self is Indonesia’s take on marvel and DC back in the 60s. But i cant feel anything other than proud looking at the productions and the final result. The so called sequel, which is Sri Asih solo movie was just released recently. Hope to have the chance to watch it soon

The concept was great but the climax was rushed, there's so many unanswered questions, did the mother die ? Did he get revenge for his father or are we supposed to let that go, will he ever meet his childhood friend who helped him when he was younger!! It's too much and I imagine the second movie will focus on him fighting this new ancient evil so we'll possibly never get the answer to these questions

Actually this is their attempt to make a shared Superhero universe like MCU or DC The characters are based on comic books just like American Superheroes, the childhood friend you talked about, he will also grow up to become another Superhero so we will be seeing him again :)
