    @@nayandhir5910 Food stamps and EBT were never meant to feed the poor. They were given out to subsidize the big food conglomerates. Fast food meals and sugary sodas to add to free medical care from eating a poor diet. When the breadwinner in our family was downsized a few years ago and lost medical insurance, Obama FINED us at a time we couldn't spare money paying the bills. And our fine went to give free medical care to others who did not contribute to society, and now to the undocumenrted. A travesty.

    Ok, but why are homeless people living better than people who ACTUALLY have jobs, are veterans, or are serving the country? This is just incentivising these people to stay homeless and live off the system.

    You see those 20 sq ft closet rooms they made for the homeless and then these 1600 sq ft, 600,000 dollar units for the homeless. Come on. Next, get the homeless each a yacht and put them out to sea. Crazier every day!!!

    I hope the people that really need the units get them. Mandatory mental health & drug/alcohol counseling for those who need it should be required to remain a tenant. I hope this brings some resolution to the problem but the 600k per unit seems a bit 🤨

    It's frustrating to see that some homeless people seem to be living better than me despite my hard work. I have a full time job, a part time job, and a KZread channel, yet I still struggle to pay my mortgage and deal with the insanely high cost of electricity and other expenses. California feels like a scam, and I'm seriously considering packing my things and leaving.
