Diesel prototype 1 deltic nearly went to Canada they were meant to take the loco there to do further trials but they decided against it thanks to a leakage in one of the engines

as of today 6 deltics plus the prototype are still here as of today

at the moment deltic 15 16 and 22 are due to be back after their overhauls

deltic 2 19 16 9 and 22 are still active on the mainline like they did in the 1970s
