    The Grand Duchess is one impressive lady! She was born in Cuba and left with her parents and siblings when Castro came to power. She lived in NYC for a few years, where she attended school in French. Then, her family went to Santander, Spain for a few months before relocating permanently to Geneva, Switzerland, which is where she met her future husband, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, at the university. She speaks English, Spanish, French, and Luxembourgish fluently! And those are just the languages which I have seen/heard her speak in interviews. She probably speaks, or is at the very least conversant in German, Italian, perhaps Portuguese. She has my utmost respect!

    As a Luxembourger I can tell you that we are proud to have our Monarchy. We love our Grand Duc and Grand Duchesse. By the way we have a parliament too. And our Grand Duchesse does so much for the people. We are a small country but an open one ( over 50% of non-luxembourhish people living here), every one speaks at least 4 languages.

Her mother in law even circulated rumors to the press that her husband is cheating and that she was ready to leave the country because of that. The difference between her and someone like Meghan is that she has class and she won’t give details of her personal life like that on tv.

She was raised with maids and nannies and when castro took over, the family moved to New York where she lived in the wealthy Upper East Side then they moved to Santander in Spain and finally to Geneva, Switzerland. The is no way anyone could say that she was from the ghetto. Her family is about as different from Meghan's as the East is from the West.

    But that is the problem it doesn't take them long to change their tune and start living just for themselves and doesn't care about the little people under them. They should have no problem with making sure the poor people in their countries can eat at least two meals a day but they don't know what it feels like to be hungry and I know I'm going to get a lot of slack for mentioning Harry and Meghan's name but the one thing that disturbed me the most is Meghan started living in England when all of those apartments were burning up and Meghan made a cookbook to sell and all of the proceeds went to each and every one of those family to get back up on their feet and we didn't hear anything about any of the other Royals doing something to help those people but the paparazzi were still willing to trash Meghan. That shows how sick and jealous they are of her. I can't blame them for not wanting to leave but it is good to know that they are still part of different foundations over there but it's just not under royalty it's just under Harry and Meghan and look what they are doing now here in America and around the world and they are getting respect for the charities they support and the people they help. Some people may not like it but they will always be called Prince Harry and Princess Meghan whether their enemies like it or not. They just don't talk about what they want to do they take action and do the things that needs to be done.

It could even be turned into a Royal Trek across the UK competition to see how many Esca[e Rooms could be solved using tools of the trade during the times represented in that room. Allow players to start at any site of her choosing, but requiring the FINAL challenge to be solved at Windsor on Buckingham Palace I recently saw a video of Windsor and Buckingham Palace's LIBRARY. I would LOVE to really see the books and records and items of profound historical significance kept in that library. The whole thing could help raise funds for NHS.

    To answer the question, pretty much all EU monarchies are completely neutered. In the Netherlands for example they even had to give up their royal artifacts like scepters if they wanted to be allowed to hold their titles. It's all purely ceremonial, and in times of need they boost their countries' morale. There are some taxes that go towards maintaining them, but even that is always under scrutiny and most royal families are wealthy in their own right with investments and straight up businesses.

    Absolutely. By calling out the racist media, Harry and Meghan stood up to racism on behalf of every single person of color who endures racist behaviors every day. • @gdaudencia8926

    @gdaudencia8926

    And most of them are protected by the institutions but Meghan was not protected. I understand fair criticism like the private jets but most of the other things the palace usually calls the papers as they are part of the papers not to run the stories because they are informed of some of the stories before hand for a comment and the palace can say no comment or it's fallacy or false don't run. I know fir sure a lot of stories of stories about the Cambridges particularly Kate were shut down or if they were already put out there they threat to sue or publicly say they are not true. Meghan only asked for one story to be shutdown which was she made her sister in law cry. Imagine no one calling (except your husband when he could which sometimes he could not as he is not the head of any household, the queen did however try and give them some sort of freedom by giving them frogmore and having their own team but that has to do things through Buckingham palace) out the articles on you that have racial undertones but they call out articles on the duchess of Cambridge getting botox which was false. Then tgere are leaks coming out about you and your husband some of them true and others made up, then you ask how is it that only our team, Kensington and Buckingham palace knew about abc but now it's out there. Or the indirect briefing to the press that they didn't want Little Archie to get a picture whrn she left the hospital which they got criticised for or that it was the Sussexes who chose not to give him a title. If they were trying to trim down the monarchy then tell the press the truth you did not want to give him a title. I understand where Prince Harry and Meghan are coming from because you follow the decisions they give you and then you get backlash for it because you get taxpayer money but they don't correct the stories. Then there is the alleged racist comment and then well why do you want to change the convention for him when charles becomes King, when the rules were bent for Charlotte and Louis and they are not direct heir ywt they claim they want to focus on direct heirs. When you ask why the convention would be changed for your son when their grandfather becomes King and they don't give you a reason yet they chose to have the conversation whilst you are pregnant with your emotions high and all plus you just had a racist comment made about yoir child and suffered racial undertones in the tabloids and racism on social media and no one stood up for you but your husband even I would think the title snub is racially motivated if you don't give me a reason. You are a new mother in a new country, still a newly wed, you are trying to please a nation, be there for your spouse, whilst not losing yourself and supporting your causes, and your spouse family because that is your duty as a person who marries into the royal family. There is snobbery, misogyny and rejection from some palace employees from all angles which all royal brides endure. You have a dysfunctional family and to add on to that the specific people who are suppose to protecting and supporting are not doing much or some are contributing to lies about you, which puts you continuously back at square one because you are doing your best to do your job and the people but then thise stories assassinate your character and then people feel some type of way about you and it's not even true. During the tours the royals usually have a drinknor party with the royal rota or media to thank them for covering their work but your husband is not a fan of the press because he wants to protect you because they wrote crap about you because as much as Meghan does not read the papers, Prince Harry does and made that very clear when he was deployed and he does not want what happened to his mother to happen to you, so the press don't get to know your true personality to actually question the leaks (which i don't they would anyways because thwy like drama and the men in grey suits through the lwaks are giving them permission, almost like you and your young family are the scapegoats). Yet with all the lies coming out about you, you being used as a clickbait object and the death threats against you, you are told your children will not have security. When you start having suicidal thoughts they don't support or help you and then you tell your husband even after being skeptical about it as you are scared if you don't you might actually do it and you are pregnant with all these dark thoughts because your husband feels like he is the protector of his family he tries to help but it's with not much avail and all he can do is craddle you, that will take a toll on him too and his mental health and mood will be low, this is a train that does not stop but just gets worse. After what Prince Harry went through he would not want to walk behind another coffin early again these time 2 plus his foetal child and these team he knew has a choice but it is the hardest one because he is not gettimg the help plus it feels like the people in the palace are against them too and perpetuating against them. You call your family grandmother and father to tell them about a decision you want to take (these was before the African tour because there was even a documentary to show his family's struggles). BTW all of things leaked even the one of the mental health they just did not publish it for legal reasons. Yet for some reason why your problems are not treated with urgency could be because you are not going to be King yet you do so much to serve and you family hit a very liw point they snub you and don't look at your case with urgency. After things get extremely bad and out of control your grandmother because she is your Nan and boss wants to sort things out calls you and tells you to come over to talk things over dinner with her when you get there she tells you she had something planned in her diary that she did not know about. I understand someone saying something came up but the queen's things are thoroughly planned there is no way she did not know and Harry knows that. She must have called him from Canada knowing she always has schedule she must have checked before she told him to see her but her advisors make her stall on the conversation and then you realise the statement whilst at an event at the Canadian Embassy and people go ballastic like it's a shock and there are leaks saying you blindsided the queen as in she did not know the queen, the only way you blindsided your grandmother which in way was wrong was not telling her you were releasing it and you release it on instagram but you feel you were left with no choice as your decision was being leaked in a attempt to stop you that is why they were stalling but you release the full details before they (the men in grey suits) do and twist the story. After you leave they tell some story about your father funding you and your security (even if you would have wanted that) when you are financially cut off and people are giving you slack about being on your dad's payroll when you are infact not yet your father is doing abc and all the other false leaks such as the bullying that was being published even after they left, those are all damaging stories even after you left and they don't stop. At that point you honestly have nothing to lose as your characters are constantly taking a jab for no good reason you decide that people can think whatever they want but for peace of mind and sanity we shall tell our truth, you also makesure not to bash the family but the business side or institution (men in grey suits who run and offer advise on the firm) but we will do it ourselves not colluding indirectly with the press through leaks or biographies (because they made it clear they didn't contibute to finding freedom as any thing that comes from them will come from them directly and their press team not sources, if there are close sources claiming things it's either they are false or unauthorised because even their Meghans who defended her do it with they names known but don't speak for her family except the 5 friends who spoke anonymously to people magazine in her defense when she was a working royal but they did it without her permission according to the court case vs the daily mail. That is my take on it and I honestly think things could have been handled better when they were small and the Sussexes voiced their distress, even the queen former head advisor said he would have handled things differently because the current advisor let it spiral out of control. It is what it is now hopefully this family can finally heal no more press games hopefully from all of them especially the palace who are the McCoys of leaks.

    @@alicegauteng2358 they’re not servants. Servants implies they are not paid or treated with respect. The staff of the royal family are paid and are often the most trusted confidants of members. In many countries around the world the royal family isn’t just a figure, like in Great Britain, but actually have a role in governance of the country. Monarchies still exist for a variety of reasons. Heck, the British royal family is one of the biggest drivers of tourism into the country. Britain saw a huge spike in revenue following William and Kate’s wedding. I’d recommend reading up on modern royalty before completely dismissing them as useless.

    @Anne Day Hey I am not a royalist at all, but I cam image their pain too. Imagine having to get up everyday, and someone forcing you to go out and talk to people you barely know and pretend to care/smile. I work in Customer service and I can tell you how exhausting that is. Princess diana actually said it felt like you were at a wedding every single day of your life. Then also imagine that everywhere you go you are being picked on for doing something wrong, having the pressure of pissing off world leaders and hurting your people who can always take away everything you own in a minute, then barely being able to have a private evening with family and friends without a pap in some bushes trying to get some dirty details on you or leaking your nudes. It's a mental struggle, but I can still say it's nothing like our struggles (every day people and I would take my struggle, with some money, over a tiara any day).
