We were meant to go on a week's Christmas market cruise last Saturday, and after doing all the packing, which was a nightmare, the day before we both fell ill and tested positive for covid and had to cancel it. We are both so poorly. I've been watching you from my sick bed, and I'm so glad and thankful for your constant vlogs during such a busy time for yourself to be doing them for us to enjoy!. You're keeping me saine, I've never been so ill in all my life. As soon as I'm better, I'm going to have one of your gorgeous sausage rolls. Hello twinnie, oh noooo Karen, I’m so sorry you had to cancel your cruise, that’s such9 a shame, Covid has a lot to answer for, and you’re really poorly with it too. I was ill with it the 1st time I had it, felt shocking so I know how you feel. There’s not much you can do, just stay in bed, keep warm, rest, paracetamol, and all the other stuff, and wait for it to go. Awwww I feel for you love and I’m sending you a massive hug ❤️🤶🏻🎄

Yes I’m keeping busy, and out of trouble lol. Wow you’ve been busy yourself haven’t you, and we can think about diets after Christmas lol. Oh are you a food hoarder Chrissie, I just try and store stuff flat if possible in a zip lock bag, or in a square Tupperware, and stack stuff as best I can. Works for me. I tend to go a bit overboard to be honest, can’t help myself lol 😂❤️🎄🤶🏻

Hi Lynn, we have to pay £3.60 for a multiseeded loaf because we are coeliac and can't have gluten! When we bought this particular bread, which is the nicest as some of them taste like cardboard, it was £2.75 and that was earlier this year! Love your videos, we are of a similar age although i am older than you! Keep doing what you are doing, you are an inspiration inspiration ❤

Hi Lynn, so much work goes into the run up to Christmas, and you never seem to have time. Wednesdays are my day off when I meet a friend for lunch. We then go on for tea or coffee and cake, naughty but nice. Then we finish up browsing at clothes somewhere locally, which is dangerous. We both bought 2 tops yesterday at a local boutique (couldn't resist). Our excuse being we needed them. Does that sound familiar?? 😂😂❤

Hi Lynn, Those rolls looked so good. I'm sure they tasted delicious. You've just been nonstop, haven't you? You are going to need a vacation after the holidays are over with. LOL, I need to get out and get some last minute things done and don't want to do it over the weekend. I think I'll wait till Monday maybe when everywhere may not be as crowded. Can't believe Christmas is coming up so fast. We spend so much time preparing for it, and it comes and goes in the blink of an eye. You sure did look so lovely and cozy. Such a pretty top you bought. I'm waiting on a cardigan to come in from Temu right now. It looked so pretty, hope it fits well. I think we are going to have a salad tonight for supper. I'll probably cut up some chicken and put that in also. Likewise, think I need another cup of coffee right about now. Been purging my kitchen cabinets and fridge and freezer. Things are getting too cluttered and I hate having to dig through things to find what I need. A lot of things I just don't use anymore, so I'm putting that aside to give to one of the charity shops around here. Hope you have a great weekend and that hubby will be able to finish outside. Can't wait to see it all done. I bet it's going to look beautiful. Take care, my beautiful friend.

Hello beautiful ballerina, they did, I ate half of one lol, froze the rest. We have a holiday booked in February so I’m looking forward to that. I’m going out tomorrow with my daughter for some decor, not food, we’ll be doing food another day. I know, you look back and think, all that work and effort and whoosh it’s gone lol. I’m so into neutral and cosy at the moment. I don’t have anything in my basket on Temu just now, but I’m sure it won’t be long after Christmas before it’s full. I love salad, [haven’t had one for ages though. Oh there’s nothing worse is there, I even got pull out stainless steel basket drawers that Harvey fitted in my cupboards, so that I don’t have to move stuff to get to the back, just pull the basket out like a drawer. It’s good to donate to the charity shops, someone will be so grateful for your things. Flags are down, fence is finished, just need to point the flags and it’s done till spring. You take care too, you beautiful soul ❤️🤶🏻🎄

Hey Lynn just tests and x rays etc it's not how long it takes, it's the waiting around to be seen, ridiculous. Won't find out results until after New Year. Yeh just fresh fruit and veg and a meat hamper I ordered from butcher on the 23rd if I don't have it by then, tough we go without, have a great day my lovely 😊 xxx

If you struggle to decorate, I would go buy ready made icing decorations, they sell them in Asda, and other supermarkets, and they sell icing in a tube so you can just stick them on, easy peasy x They might even sell them at the range. You just make me feel so guilty, you're just sooo busy ,and I just keep putting things off while I watch you ,haha ! Today I have to set some tulips in a tub otherwise it will be too late.Kitchen wise , we're lucky enough to have been invited to our youngest son's for Christmas so that's something else to feel guilty about !!

Hi Lynn, I’m interested to see what you do with your apples. I’ve made two batches of sausage rolls they are in the freezer, do you put them in the oven still frozen or thaw them out first?

I take mine out the night before and let them thaw in the fridge, others have said they cook from frozen but I’ve never tried so I wouldn’t like to say on that one, so my advice would be to thaw first. Apples coming soon Patricia… ❤️🤶🏻🎄❤️
