Go to Tynemouth next to Whitley Bay on a Saturday or Sunday. A fantastic market at the train station. Loads of retro stuff and collectibles.

Omg there was a box u didn’t pick up .that wooden box I have had the exact box I’ve never seen it anywhere else before I’ve had mine over 30 years so defo very vintage used to be my mums

We live between Whitley Bay and Blyth and charity clothes shopping is me and my best friends favourite thing to do , as my late Mam used to say a penny spent is a pound saved.😁

You found some lovely things. The charities have been providing slim pickings for me for quite some time - I do prefer quality purchases versus the Primark / Tesco / M&Co stuff that seems to be the bulk of their stock those days, plus the prices are often silly even for those - so I’ve not really been doing a lot of shopping, although I always used to get amazing bargains before the pandemic hit. But I do still like to visit them if I’m out of my local area. Have you tried York or Durham? I’ve had really nice things from there in the past, if you’re ever round that way.

Thanks for watching! I understand where you're coming from in regards to pricing. I see things in charity shops priced higher than the original price. You really have to have a good rummage to find the hidden gems! I've been to York but not for a while. Might be one to do soon and film 😁

@@michellegiblin6812 Hi Michelle, great question! Sterling silver will tarnish over time and become black in colour. It can easily be removed using a silver polishing cloth, this is how I polish my sterling silver items 😁

The blue scarf velvet is Devore. Its velvet and they melt the pattern out so the white transparent bits is deliberate. Im from the north east and Whitley Bay is near me.
