Why do you recommend not writing a thesis statement for a 25 marker?. Will it lower my marks?

Well I do know you can definitely get full marks without one and it’s not required by the mark scheme. If you find it helpful, do it, but I find it easier to just get straight into the essay

also can you do paragraphs solely on ethics/philosophy then one solely on christianity

Not even going to try, I got paper 1 completely wrong!

can you do an intro, 4 paragraphs and conclusion for 25 marker

If the 4 paragraphs were really good I would say yes. Conclusion much more important than intro. Not ideal to have loads of time left over though, you want to try and use all the time
