I haven’t been “gyming” all that hard, but after surviving cancer in my inner right thigh, all I’ve wanted to do was to have my own ‘bakery’ (cough). Unfortunately I have to work against the chemotherapy, which manipulated my whole right leg to grow MUCH slower… I’m bummed out by it, but EVEN SO, I’m gonna train. Actual advice for the leg extensions: hold on tightly to the handles and PULL yourself into the seat as hard as you can. THAT will actually allow for better force production.

this is only advice that it mainly geared toward those who have bad/weak knees as it, or are prone to hyper extension genetically or by injury. he is neither of those obviously so him locking out is okay

In time you will learn to love leg day, to wait for it like a rabid dog waiting to be fed, in time you will want to squat ass to ground. I too once hated leg day, now it's my favorite day.
