"A Lack Of Knowledge About The Past!” | Trudeau Apologises After Praising Nazi - Peter Hitchens

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday formally apologized after the speaker of the House of Commons praised a Nazi veteran in the chamber while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was present.
Trudeau also said Ottawa had already reached out to Kyiv and Zelensky through diplomatic channels to apologize.
TalkTV’s Mile Graham is joined by columnist Peter Hitchens for his weekly half an hour.

Even ethnic Hungarians are also having their language and culture erased by the Nazis. The hundreds of NATO missiles surrounding Russia is likewise never mentioned in favour of the hitherto non-existent "Russian threat". A fact you could also discuss is the fact that Canada's Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland is of Ukranian descent and her grandfather ran an anti-semitic newspaper for the Germans in Poland and the Ukraine during the Holocaust. The problem regarding this crime is she has denied it, thus lying to the Canadian people. In many ways her grandfathers crimes were worse than anything the SS man on the balcony might have done.

With a Jewish surname this is exceptionally ironic. Same goes for George Soros: he remembers the '40s as the best years of his life (sic!). This is when his parents perished during the holocaust and when he VOLUNTARILY joined the Hungarian youth nazi movement. They were tasked to help with the sorting of the confiscated valuables of those who were sent into the camps. Just read what Karl Marx - whose grandfather was a rabbi - said about the Jews, it would make Hitler blush.

People should research how West Ukraine sided with Hitler and assisted in atrocities particularly Babi Yar (Kiev 1941) when tens of thousands of men, women, children were murdered. It was the people of East Ukraine who fought with us against this tyranny. The people of East Ukraine are mostly Russian speaking and have voted twice to be part of The Russian Federation. Kiev government has dismissed these referendums saying all of Ukraine must vote (like UK government saying all of the UK must vote in a referendum on Irish reunification). The Russian language was banned in education, employment and on TV and Russian Christian churches have been shut down. We are making a huge mistake in following politicians that clearly understand nothing. We are on the path to WW3 - all because we will not respect a people's democratic right to determine their sovereign destiny.

You yourself and those who like your comments are just as uneducated as Justin Castro: the entire Eastern/Central European region fought both against the Nazis and the Soviets. Also Scandinavia. If you randomly pick a person from the above territories they can tell you, that our countries were pillaged by first the Nazis, then the Soviets who came to "free us from the Germans", then by the Western allied troops who came to "free us from the commies". They all robbed, raped, executed and destroyed sometimes multiple times depending how the fronts moved. The Polish producer of The Witcher said that he wanted to make a movie about the Warsaw ghetto uprising but he was unable to pitch it properly in Hollywood as the average Westerners are so uninformed and ignorant that they did not even know who is who in WW2! They could not comprehend that just because you hate the communist USSR you are not a Reich sympathiser and vica versa. Go to a library, it is free.

My father flew as a navigator in a Lancaster Bomber. He did participate in the bombing of Dresden. Three years previously he had worked as a volunteer fireman in the heavily industrial area of Newcastle, England and he witnessed severe bombing destruction from the Nazis. My father, like most of his compatriots, wanted to end Hitlers reign of terror across Europe. He was willing to force that surrender, which eventually happened. He lived with the damage of Dresden and many other locations he hit before being shot down and seriously wounded.

As far as I can tell, politicians of both stripes stood up to applaud the old Nazi. First of all, surely the RCMP must have done some background checking on this guy, so how was this missed and not mentioned to the Speaker who invited him. Second of all, every politician in the room should be hanging their heads in shame. I don’t give a damn what their politics are, they’re a bunch of stupid sheep. How could anyone not know that ‘we fought the Russians in WWII’ means ‘I was a Nazi’. The Russians were our allies and lost millions of soldiers fighting with us. Yes, they’re considered an enemy and the US essentially turned on Russia and we ended up in the awful Cold War for decades as a result. Ultimately, what an insult to every single one of us who lost relatives fighting in the war, those who ended up in the concentration camps and etc. it’s been 78 years. Flipping Hitler is still a topic of discussion today. It’s appalling

Turdeau is just the face of the Canadian Prime Ministers Office or PMO which actually run the country and I think it's hilarious that the PMO who told Turdeau to call Canadians "Swastika waving Nazis" for expressing their disapproval of their draconian covid policies should invite a real life honest to goodness Nazi into their parliament and there reward him with a standing ovation. Nothing happens in Ottawa without the PMO rubber stamping it first, NOTHING. It's incredible that they actually seem to expect us to believe that they didn't know that a Ukrainian fighting Russians during WW2 might likely have at least one foot in the Nazi camp , a simple google search would have sufficed. So they are either completely ignorant of modern history to the same degree a 5 year old might be or they knew he was a Nazi but hoped to get away with nobody noticing. He takes a giant pause.. That is because he suddenly reali'd that. Mr. Hunwas Was fighting for the Germans. The speaker you can clearly hear him pause. trudo set this up. I will leave it UP 2 you to figure out. The multiple complications, including the fact that dolinski basically represents the right-wing of the Ukraine. There will be no negotiated peace. You're ignoring the fact that the minska agreements were sitting there 47 years, and in particular, the americans delayed any implementation. The russians will take about half of the ukraine and use the rest as a buffer state. Ukraine, The most corrupt country in the world and everybody forgets this.
