The whole Chris Broad thing is awesome to hear. I've literally been screaming at the screen for years, because in literally every video you've ever done with Chris the two of you are giggling and flirting like you're the most obvious match on earth. And I'm late in saying this but I was going through thyroid problems the same time as you and it was super comforting albeit a bit uncanny to know I wasn't alone. Going from being "healthy" to having to take medication for the rest of your life is super jarring. It feels worse when doctors are so nonchalant about it. So thank you for sharing your health journey. It helps. Good luck to our thyroids 🙃

eh... it's six of one and half a dozen of the other really. From personal experience every advantage also comes with considerable potential downsides if you break up or your feelings aren't mutual. If a break up gets acrimonious it can get really bad. There's some friends I rarely see anymore because two friends broke up and it just permanently broke our friendship group in two. And not even on purpose it's just different friends gravitated to one side or the other due to pre-existing relationships and it just died a slow death.

People might choose a camp, to be closer with one of the people or the other, in turn fracturing the entire friend group. I think the person was just saying to be mindful of if that happens, how that might affect everyone else as well.

I agree so much about the shipping part. It's so weird yet it's so common. Especially when it's unkown if they have a partner or not. If it's done as a joke (like Chris and Connor) or people are just casual about it like 'oh they would be cute and fit together' (Sharla and Chris) it can be acceptable but some people are so serious about it and actually get mad when it doesn't turn out to be true or they get a different partner.

Congrats on your relationship and I feel you in terms of the thyroid issue, had my surgery when I was 20 (now 24) and unfortunately for me it was cancer but early-stage thankfully. My life changed from that point as well but I sadly don't get to eat as well as I want because of financial struggles. Hoping all the best to you and embrace the scar and I hope you get used to the daily meds. You got this. Oh and from your experience is the health care system in Japan good?

Totally agree! At first, I semi-convinced myself that Sharla's move to Sendai was just a coincidence (i.e., work-related). However, the fact that Chris lives there did not completely escape me.😀 Regardless, so happy that they have reached a point where they are comfortable enough to make their relationship public.
