I really like this horse, just not a fan of how behind the verticle he is. It almost looks like rollkur at some points.

I like this better than Reining, it looks like it has a purpose in real life. (I know none of these show horses actually work on a ranch but still...)

Just because the horse has a pretty neck doesn’t excuse the over flexion

A “little” behind the vertical? I would say “a lot!”

Thought you can only one hand to hold reining events. It did for me or I was disqualified

Under normal circumstances, yes. However, the reins that the rider is using (romals) require one hand holding the end of the romal.

Why am I thinking this purty stud doesn't make his living as a working cow horse, especially with that gleaming hide, long mane and bang tail right down to his heels?

There's this thing called "bathing your horse" and another thing called "tail bags."

And there’s also a thing called “show horses” and “work horses.” Some people do take their work horses into these classes, others keep them in arenas.

@@tw_neo708 This is in a class called "Working Cow Horse". And he has a purty banged tail, a purty mane, bandaged and booted on all four. Sure is a purty horse. Wonder if he's ever even seen a cow? I'm guessing maybe only in passing.

@@DoubleDogDare54 he’s definitely been worked with cows in order to train for this, but likely not out on a ranch, outside an arena.

Rider was crooked and yanking on the horses mouth. The horse still worked so well for him. We don’t deserve horses

A little behind the vertical?... He was holding the horses chin between its legs the whole pattern and not even trying to hide it... Nothing natural or trained in that head carriage... That was forced by a gnarly bit and a very heavy hand... Gross to watch...

Ok nice horse, why the fake tail? I suspect these fake tails hide tail popping, watching the rider he looks a little heavy in his heels, the horse is athletic and easy on the eyes.

This one dose not have a fake tail, in cow horse classes its illegal. Its quite mesmerizing at first how well they keep their tails. Cow horses can be tough to ride, I don't blame him for being heavy on his heels, but I do see what you mean.

This horse looks really sloppy to me- he's all over the place, and the rider looks like is not helping the situation.
