Sealbro hes the good kind of bad guy, hes a good player but his attitude gets the better of him. i like that hes an antagonist and alot of people like him for that, is m2k going to win again? or is leffen the bad guy going to take the gold for himself. i dont hate him, and i do disagree with his acts but god damn if it dont create good tv drama.

Why all the hate on Leffen? I'm not saying he is such a great person, but he is an amazing smash player. While I may not agree with him outside the game, I respect his skill. Like Tiger Woods. He did some... not so appropriate things. But he is one of the greatest golfers ever and people everywhere respect him. Why can't it be the same for Leffen?

i actually dont like the way he plays, i dont think he really works for his wins as much as the other players. leffen very rarely outplays someone, he justs hopes you screw up. thats why leffen constantly gets 4 stocked. if you dont screw up against him he cant do anything.

There's more pride in that than most things. He has found something to put his name on. To strive for. He went out and did his own thing. Probably more difficult than his previous job, and certainly more satisfying. I hope to someday be able to do something I so enthusiastically love and be proud of that.

Do people even realize how disgustingly large the amount of hate L3ffen get's is? I know he was a dick in the past, but the pendulum has swung WAY too far the other way. We talk about respect and trying to grow a more peaceful community and then we even support hating on him, it's really personally mean and if you can't over the fact that L3ffen isn't an all-out jerk anymore YOU are apart of the problem. This community is an extremely uneducated, hypocritical and cynical one, this comments on this video is perfect evidence of that even though it isn't a hate video. People take things to extremes.

Leffen has basically become one of the "uncrowned kings" of smash. He beat Mango in bracket and absolutely DESTROYED Chillin during the salty suite. Had he won Apex 2015, the smash community would have looked a lot different.

Blitz 'n Burst Alright, I'll give you that, for sure. I heard he had gotten sick but I didn't realize it was that bad. I'm also not a fan of that phrase the way people have been dismissing legitimate excuses like that with it. I just don't think it's giving leffen the credit he does deserve in terms of skill to say "at least he beat chillin" after beating mango twice (once with jet lag) and armada (@ beast 5)

Why do people keep saying that "every community needs a villain"? That's completely untrue. While I agree that Leffen is the "villain" of the Smash community, there doesn't need to be one. It's a silly notion that in order for a community to be balanced, or interesting, there needs to be an antagonist, bringing contempt and disrespect with them wherever they go. Leffen is cancerous for the community with his complaints, degradation of other players, and general disrespect and poor representation of the game and community.

I could beat Leffen in Project M, I haven't done much practice on Melee since my game disc is really dirty and won't read and I haven't had to to try and fix it. But I would take Leffen on in PM...(I probably would loose, he's really good, but still)

Leffen is not somebody to idolize, and I don't know why people do. He's insanely good, and...that's about it. He's pretty boring to watch in my opinion. Also, I don't appreciate someone trying to make their opponent feel like shit. When he loses, it's all excuses. It's never him getting outplayed. When he wins, he acts like a god. He's just nothing special, and he's an asshole. He's not a "villian", he doesn't intend to " create hype". He's an asshole.

Olivia Suki Don't focus too much on evidence.zip, he's definitely improved since then. Like Anderceus said, he really is the type of guy that you both love and hate. He is a ridiculously skilled player, there's no doubt about it, but the way he acts now is still pretty controversial among non-professional players.
