This may sound odd but I would like to see Kirby go to an antique shop or an antique furniture store sometime. I am sure his home is "well dressed" and is decorated to the level of care as he dresses himself. Some insight into where he purchases the furniture and decor would be a welcome addition to the content.

Kirby, this was a treat mate. It reminded me that I have a 1922 copy of The Old Country, which was a collection of poems, short stories, and essays by the luminaries of English culture. It was edited together and given to lads marching into France and Belgium in 1914, to remind them of home and give them a mental reprieve from the darkness they were living through. This copy is immaculate, bound in England by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, emblazened in gold leaf with beautifull illustrations throughout. As a proud Englishman living in Virginia it is truly one of my prized possessions, and one hundred years later still serves the purpose it was put together for... If only for someone less deserving. Again, thank you.

Kirby - Closer to your home in the U.S. is Adam Weinberger who sells rare books in New York City. I would recommend him if you are getting into collecting rare books. He has some unusual pieces for sale and is very informed about what is available on the rare book market.

I like reading an e-book as much as the next fellow, but I'm also pretty old school when it comes to books. I still have books from my childhood, although I've lost many as well. That's why I like what Folio Society sells in their ultra premium bound and slipcased line of books. Some titles are obviously much more expensive and exclusive than others, but I've purchased a few of their books including their quite excellent James Bond series. I used to have almost every novel in the old paperbacks, save for The Man With The Golden Gun. I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you're a collector and reader!

I was thinking, Kirby, take your hat off inside when he realised that himself and whipped it off at 3:47. The hat and suit work perfectly together.

This was amazing Kirby. Really enjoyed this. Rare books are in essence a time machine. It allows one to observe the past through the eyes and worldview of the persons who created it. The challenge with rare books is what happens if you want to actually study the material rather than shelve it? Does using the book diminish its value?

I'll tell you two books you can find in England or America, these books are new prints but not cheap, the first is- Picasso, cover is made by some fabric; and the other one- Man and his watch, this is about vintage watches. Picasso must be over 200 USD or around, the other one is cheaper but still quite an impressive piece. I shall recommend do some research in post stamps, they are not so expensive nowdays, but very enjoyable for collecting according to the themes of interest.

(This question is off topic.) I have a $200.00 budget for a suit, where would you recommend I look for a good black, all season suit at this price point? I am interning as a funeral director, and I need to find a black suit I can wear outside in 90-100 degree heat. Any help will be appreciated.

You’ve come to the right place for suggestions on how best embody the timeless, classic look of a funeral director. For $200, your best bet will be to look on eBay for vintage suits in your size. I would recommend a simple two button suit. But have you considered dark grey instead of black? I would suggest something in 100% wool with no polyester, which will be impossible to find at that price point new.

One more, there is no need to pay super-expensive price for French cognacs, ask Sahakian, that you're interested in the original Armenian and Georgian brandies, Ararat and Sarajishvili, where to buy them. The quality and taste are the highest possible.

That's an overblown risk. From the Library of Congress: "Always handle collection materials with clean hands whether wearing gloves or not. Though clean gloves prevent the transfer of natural skin oils to paper, they make page turning difficult and increase clumsiness. Studies have shown that skin oils can affect how paper ages, but some preservation experts prioritize reducing the physical risk from reduced tactility; see "Misperceptions About White Gloves / Fausses idées sur les gants blancs," [PDF: 192 KB / 14 p] from International Preservation News." Proper storage and protecting from tearing are the best ways to preserve an old book.
