I love his tackling. That’s what you get out of Clemson dbs they’re very good with their pursuit. Andrew booth who is going to be in the draft is exceptionally good at tackling and of course coverage

Facts. He plays super clean, when that ball goes up he is always playing the ball and hands off. Very few lockdown corners nowadays who aren’t holding and on the edge of PI on every contested ball

Get this man a pass rush and a CB2 and it’s lights out!!!

Very underrated player

Terrell is a baller, and a lights out defender, period. How about a pass rush to help him out, way too many QBs had a clean pocket vs Falcons Defense.

AJ is one of our best CBs we have had in the last few years. This kid got the talent and ability to make an impact any game. He cuts half of the field when he is out there playing.

This is why I hate pro bowl he don’t have 11 picks like diggs but clearly he’s a far better corner. He’s always in position to break up the pass and hardly ever gets burned. Diggs get burned every game countless times!!!!

It disgusts me that Trevon diggs, who led the nfl in yards allowed among corners, made it first team all pro, while A.J Terrell, who is arguably a top 7 corner in the league and is absolutely great at defending, and is arguably the best defensive player from the 2020 draft class, hasn’t been selected to the pro bowl, he deserved to be first team

I think he’s the best cornerback in the league. He has stats very similar to Ramsey who many consider the best in the league and age is a factor as well. Aj terrell is really young while Ramsey is already in his prime and they’re the same level. Imagine Terrell in his prime it’s game over

Terrell is a top 5 corner in the NFL...Im a saints fan and I watched, this very morning,Jalen Ramsey get burn all game long by Stefon Diggs ( in new orleans we know a little bit about getting burned by Stefon Diggs)Terrell was step for step with him...could have been his shirt he stayed so close AND THEN found ways constantly to make a play on the ball! After looking at this idk that anyone in the world is playing cornerback better than A.J. Terrell is! How old is he? Isn't he just a 2nd or 3rd year player?

Pay attention to hurts on that first play. Completely ignores the deep route the second he senses any pressure. Doesn't step into the pocket. Just goes to the RB screen. That's why people don't rate him very highly. You can be fast, can throw, and have all the traits, but if you consistently ignore clean pockets, don't look to go past your first read, you will be predictable, and All-Pro caliber (I know he wasn't selected but he damn well deserved it) corners are going to see that a mile away and just let the deep guy go so he can snuff out the play before it even gets started. Love AJ, what a smart, physical, and instinctive corner he's turned into. I'm not saying Hurts is doomed, I'm saying he has to learn to play QB at a higher difficulty than he currently plays at to be able to beat teams come playoff time. Screens and taking off just don't cut it against talented well coached defenses.
