When the ball snaps he’s thinking about the receivers tendencies, the qbs tendencies, the field position, the offensive formation, the situation , the coverage scheme, it’s pretty incredible

Yup. He’s a corner that knows that in the NFL, athleticism can only get you so far. He knows the biggest skill on the field is smarts. He’s not a CB that thinks they can cover anyone and not trust their S. Even as a Ravens fan, watching this makes me admire Gilmore even more.

Gilmore's elite film study illustrates what it takes to be a top tier corner. When you're playing in a backpedal against the fastest guys in the world, you need to have great instincts.

I think it’s very important for WR and QBs to watch this video too. Learn what the best of the best of your opponents are trying to do and find ways to counter so when it comes time you know what to do

Gilmore is an incredible player and much smarter than I realized. This series is fantastic.

Never played football but I'm a big fan especially of my alma mater. I knew there was a lot to it especially a tough position like DB but I didn't know how deep it got.

Smart quiet guy. Studies a lot of film and speaks through his game. I don't like the Patriots, I don't like Gilmore in particular, but he's an outstanding CB. Hard work pays off. Well done, Sir!
