Kirk asks questions about the AI's function and objectives in order to probe for an opening. When one is found, he exploits it with a logic bomb that uses their own programming against them. Destroying them by triggering an infinite loop that overheats the unit, causing it to shut down or explode, whichever comes first. Works every time.
