So i found the type-h carno files like a month and a half ago while datamining because i like to keep up to date with content progression for The isle and sometimes use assets to make thumbnails (The thumbnail on this video is one of them ;) ) and after passing it on to the devs it was decided to not tell anyone about it because nobody had any knowledge of anything going on with those creatures. It honestly sounded like it was accidental but ONE The Type-H Carno sound files were all that were present and 2 They would have had to intentionally import EVERYTHING else over to make this visible in-game and then set it up in UE5. Clearly this was no accident if they imported the ENTIRE Type-H Carno into Gateway, I don't believe that they haven't been working on them in secret personally and i'm entirely sure they could toss them in at any point much like humans with their loadouts. Building humans like DayZ is bold. Because part of DayZ's appeal is the survival. Modded DayZ is insane. There are DayZ mods for dinosaurs. But it will be nothing like this however.

What would make the human experience in the Isle better than Ark as well is that the dinosaurs aren’t simple ai that are just gonna attack you or just react, no the dinosaurs are people too that think and plan and want to survive just as much as you do, that may even want to hunt you, stalk you, wait for a good opportunity to kill you, you don’t see that in Ark

Yea that's honestly gonna be my favorite aspect. Play as a human, and just be stalked silently, for, hell maybe DAYS. Then just suddenly...crunch lmao. Or hey, maybe some people will uh...do some cringey roleplays and do a human bonds with animal thing idk

I can see herbavour mains pairing with humans to help each other. Gotta try and survive without getting acidentally squashed by friendly fire. Omnivours would be in a funny spot. Especially if hummans happen to be on their diet

Yep, that's why I put up my informative rant as when I heard Donde talk about Aiming and Shooting Guns being so simple it PISSED ME OFF. Proper Aiming and Shooting aint that damn easy. Especially not at Living Breathing Targets, and the Living Breathing Targets that can formulate thoughts, actions, and plans as well as you.

I'm trying to think of a way hypos are usable by normal players, but not able to be super abused or overpopulated I like the idea of needing to build your dino up to it, maybe traversing all over the map to human ruins finding some specific resources or just like broken goo viles that you then have to nest and you can have the hatchling be a hypo and you can switch to it? Idk, just a brainstorm, also I like the idea of there being a cap on the # of hypos. Maybe like 1 Rex, giga, and spino, but a pair or raptors and carnos?

from what i recall the plans were basically to have some funky trees that you can go to as an adult to grow into a hypo. takes awhile, and youre constantly hungry so odds of starvation are high so the population keeps itself in check

it would have to be random mutation of a carno player, sometimes it may not even happen at all; A biohazard is released into the map from a hidden broken down facility, it affects carnos, and could start affecting them at any time, if they catch it, just before adulthood, they'll know if they have it because of how quickly their food decreases, and animation sneezes and coughs etc, so they will have to hunt A LOT, if they hunt a lot and survive for long enough, instead of reaching normal adult they evolve, they reach an "immature hypo-carno" stage, stronger than a normal carno still but weaker than the hypo-carno, it will have reduced stamina due to still coughing and such and speed but requires a lot more water now, so if it manages to drink its fill and hunt it will finally reach its full hypo state. BUT and I do stress but, it will become a solitary predator, it cannot group and it MUST hunt its own kind as well as normal food i.e carnos. The breaking out of the biohazard would be a random event trigger and in a normal official setting there could only be one infected at any one time. Could also be funny to trick your fellow carno group mates, telling them you don't have it and then evolving right infront of them and massacaring them then hypo rawring lmao. Thats my idea anyway.

Tbh it should be like "objectives" to do in game, to be able to eventually be able to get a Hypo ONCE, and then once you die, there's totally new objectives. But idrk, tbh it's just wayyy to early for hypos

Afaik they're not bringing in very large sauropods like they did in legacy. The only one I can think of is Magyarsaurus which is a dwarf sauropod.

Yea i dont do either of those things when flying, and stam is still crazy. The fact we have to wait practically half of the day to regain stam is the problem. Not how those of us who have been playing since it came out (the ptera) and even prior to that.

I like the fact that they made the human have a proper body and all and it's not just some crappy floating arm flued to your camera but it's actually realistic for once.

Would love if they made it more realistic when it comes to recoil and weapon handling (like Squad, Tarkov or SCP:5K). How the gun isn't fixed, no random recoil out of the gun, no crosshair either.

It's exciting to see the isle go in this direction, and to see a type-H again was awesome, thanks for the video!

I hope this is not their only answer to the ptera stamina issue. 4:30 to regen when it takes as little as 15 secs to empty in a climb is not in the least bit fun or balanced in a map that has prominent elevation changes. It's not only the travel that has to come into consideration here. Flying in for one fish, landing to eat, then taking off again will tank your stamina very quickly also. You can't be conservative like other dinos. Two to three fish eaten, you are then waiting 4:30 again. Thats an extremely long time to not be able to move, staring at your screen. Forget slow walking... you might as well sit still with ptera. I haven't had an issue with any of the stamina changes EXCEPT this one. It is atrocious gameplay. You are on the ground as a flyer 80% of the time. It's not like pteras are some kind of glass cannon, needing to be nerfed out of the skies... they are just glass. Let them fly. It's all they have

So if humans are going to have to eat and drink to survive, they should 100% get canteens so they don't have to go to the water as often as a Dino. Since the dinos will be able to see their night vision, then it'd make sense for them to have something where they can avoid having to be in a vulnerable position for long periods of time.

I cannot WAIT until this game enters full release

@@JDINK Still doing better than games like ark or dayz, its been what, around 10 years for both of those games and they still look and feel like games I played in 2013. The isle actually feels fairly smooth and looks fantastic, it wont be that long until theres enough content to make the game more replayable.

I'm definitely looking forward to humans in The Isle. Surviving as a human is really gonna emphasize the horror aspect of the game, especially at night. When they come out it's gonna become a huge hide and seek game. I really wonder what their purpose will be though? Will they be doing research on dinos, like taking pictures/videos and earning money for better gear? They have to worry about their own progression on top of their hunger and thirst. It'll be really interesting.

Happy to Help. I couldn't find a clip of Dondi showing how the Venom would work but it is interesting. He showed the sound and it would cause ambience like replace the random sounds with Dilo sounds and play one of those weaird wind or quiet screaming sounds to make Dilo's Laughter harder to deal with since you can know when to expect a hallucination by listening for it. Troodon is also getting the ambience but it's going to be sometime after Dilo because they're gonna take what works and alter it for Troodon and maybe give Troodon other things since Dilo would most like overshadow it completely.

I hope the hypos come soon (within a decade type of soon), I miss hearing Anthomnia talk over badass clips of a hypo absolutely dominating the entirety of the server with Acts Of God playing in the background.

Glad to hear Troodon is gonna get some better venom, I personally hate the current venom just because... it really isnt venom. It's just a damage boost, which is really useful... but it isnt venom. I remember a group and I were hunting a Stego and we were winning easy up until he just... parked himself inside a tree that was conveniently big enough to shield him from every direction except one side, so we basically could do nothing, and the "venom" just fell off and he was fine.. Wounded but fine. Venom should have lasting affects, all the troodon need do is stay close and keep the pressure on so the prey cannot recover. Many animals with venom will infect their prey with it and then just... watch. really all they need to do.

I was coming here to say what @davidperry511 said lol - You can't have an animal that's both fast AND just needs to land a bite or two and wait for it's prey to die. That's not fun or fair to other players - there has to be *some* way to avoid it, combat it, or survive it. What I think will be likely to happen, is Troo will likely get the same venom effects Dilo does - hallucinations and vision impairments. Time will tell, however.

yes ik, it's good when with a big group and out in the open, but if ur in a smaller group and within like a forest, or close rock formations it's just not it, cuz as you said the "venom" just turns off after a while... which dosen't make sense.

Would be cool if Type H was a mutation you get by super low chance. Something as a result of nesting, maybe combining genes that have mutations that when spliced can result in an H.

I'm excited about the game, now that we're getting more and more. But I'd like to voice my opinion on the stam regen. It takes too long. I wouldn't have a problem if it was slow with trotting or walking, but when we sit down, I do expect it to go quicker. I'm obviously now more worried about my stam, where I'll use up half my stam and sit repeatedly. Its obviously not fun to turn the gameplay into a sitting simulator. I can understand that they had their thoughts on this idea of making the regen slower, but i dont think it will work out. If we all could give a good feedback on this matter with a mature attitude. I believe we have a chance of turning the awful regen back up to what it was or boosted enough to not sit there for 20+ minutes. ^^

Omg I had the thought the other day that thermals would make getting around as ptera so much easier! So glad that's going to be a thing!

That's cool. Hopefully they can find some people to show it too.

For thermal, they could add the ability for humans to rub mud on themselves to make themselves harder to detect A la Predator 1. If they have some kind of sickness, they could make it so that remaining dirty for too long raises the chances of getting sick (which could come with coughs, involuntary revealing your location) as well as being easier to track from scent so that isn't an easy to abuse mechanic and comes with negative effects.

I think what a lot of people forget about with humans is just how big the dinos are and how little a revolver probably does to something that big. I would also guess humans will be absurdly slow with great stamina if we are looking for realism.

Balanced? It is balanced, its an apex predator that eats pretty much everything. Have you seen how slow it is? If you die to a rex that you knew was coming, that's pretty much on you, there aren't many dinos that couldn't outrun it. Since youre such an expert, why don't you tell us how you would balance the rex and make it different to the legacy rex?

BTW those robo dinos from the beggining of the video were from a show called, Murder Drones. In that show, there are robotic raptor-like things called' Sentinals ". Also: I can't wait to see what evrima will soon have to offer. I see it as soon being just like legacy. Maybe even better. I thonk they should add sandbox to evrima.

For the Humans, they should have either Drones, Trail Cams or some sort of GPS tracker to let them know that there is danger behind those bushes. Also maybe when have a Class System it should be 10-12 but with different setup options for each class. Like Scout 1 will have a bow and arrow that’ll shoot non-lethal rounds like Tranqs, poison and nerve agents to slow down but with a bonus to Perception type perks like installing cams in rocks and have sensor Arrows. While Scout 2 would be more lethal with a Rifle and setup traps and have attack Dinos like Raptor Packs. But you could only have a squad of 6 total, so the combinations are infinite, but limited.

yeah same. Though when we talk about The Isle being "Finished", then tbh i dont think it'll be truly finished on a LONG time. Cuz imo i think they will just keep adding stuff. Once they are done with example what they want, then they will prob make a new plan, and add more things... and on an on

You know what might be an interesting way to have the humans, have it so instead of having human survival mechanics, have it so they have missions to do then extract, that way you can kill off a squad and not have them respawning constantly, like hunt without revivals or leathal company.

Finally, another isle video after watching so many rust videos and stuck in a 3-hour video that was super long. Finally I get a shorter video

Thats wrong, ye trike is coming but thats confirmed, dondi said beside the trike is also coming another apex, that can throw hs weight against the t-rex, sounds to me like spino or giga

I honestly hope its not Spino, because with the statement that Dondi said about the fine details for every creature, they could literally make the Spinosaurus fish and be around water more often. Close to what has been discovered in recent scientific studies. They can do so many things with this game. Im glad they are taking to time to get it right. It might take time to get the game entirely how they want it, but it will be so worth it.

Imagine playing as a Human then you get that scene from Jurassic Park 2 where the group walked right into a Rex Feeding. That's gonna be SOOOO horrifying. Or even walking in on the.... Is it the Sarco? The dino that gets buffed when around food. Either way, just walking through the jungle then BOOM! Big predator dino. I can see alot of events from the Jurrasic Park series happening to human players in game once they are added Also The Type-H Carno makes me think of Deathclaws from fallout xD

When they mention the spino being a possible contender for the other apex pred next to rex, I feel like it's more likely to be giga. I say this because even though spino is a big and powerful animal, at the end of the day it's just a fish boi. I don't mean that as a bad thing either, cause I'm super excited for spino, it's one of my favorite dinosaurs, but size doesn't always mean power. And ya it has slap happy hands and a sizable muzzle but I feel like that won't stand much of a chance to mr bone crusher. This is all my personal opinion of course, but either way I'm excited to be big spoon boi, whenever it may arrive
