OK but how exactly would they track that they're still on the line? They wouldn't be able to use the map coordinates on a diagonal.

@@baddecisionthebold2379 They absolutely could. The game coordinates include all 3 axis, traveling in a diagonal would change both X and Z at the same rate. If they don't want to go to the trouble of calculating it manually, Doug could whip up a simple program that reads the coordinates on screen and if the difference between the 2 is more than a certain amount it would alert him or something. They certainly have options.

The fact that EVERYTHING had to go right for this line(the 2 arrows exactly, the shield to surf, the pyro chuchus, the food along the way, the perfect pockets of shade, etc) just shows that the holy line is truly blessed.

If there are other who also tried to outdo the straightness of the original line, I apologize. And of course I wasn’t the only one thinking about it, that was poor phrasing on my part.

I watched a KZread video of people doing this IRL across the Isle of Man where they did it as a race with time penalties for straying from the line - would be fun to see you and DougDoug race against each other with something like that. Alternatively, blind line challenge: get the straightest line without being able to see your coordinates.

This might just be my fav PC video. The fact that he had the items ready for a summoning circle is hilarious.

The stream of this was probably my favorite stream of Pointcrow's ever. I watched it on a day when I was home sick from work and it was so entertaining.
