A huge box arrived (unofficial mailbag)
Ғылым және технология
Yeah, it's Monday, but this week isn't a "mailbag week".
Except I just got this big box of stuff from Joey.
So sit back and enjoy this unboxing and exploration of whatever hall this stuff is

This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it.

You are the pile of stuff so I sent stuff. Printer cables for first item. Lol pl9823 are neopixels. Just the 5050 are addressable in the smd. I can explain it all to ya if you like in an email. The teensy is a 600mhz arm controller and the ethernet adapter is for your dmx project. I meant to send you a nema23 that was much bigger haha

Joey, You are indeed kind. I sent a box to my great nephew; he and I share the same birthday. He's 10 and loves electronics! ❤ Old Auntie Jenn here has been fiddling with electronics for decades. I've finally started making things, instead of just fixing things. This hobby keeps my brain active. @Pileofstuff you got a great haul there!

I think you're good on LEDs until next weekend. At the least 1 maybe 2 days😊 Very nice haul from a very nice guy. People like Joey are the reason why there's still hope for this crazy selfish world.😎

Your house will be well lit up this christmas, viewable from space :D
You'll have to have summer heat projects soldering event. The basement is a great place to be when it too hot
Now you can finally get started on that 8 foot LED TV
"Holy shit man, what have you done!" is an understatement. WOW! Take a look at timestamp 10.24, there's a HPDL-1414, four character, sixteen-segment bubble display. That's a cool little display, driven with only 4 bits/pins. Cool haul!
Even as a viewer it is overwhelming, how much is enough, but this stuff is addictive to buy.
Nice assortment. If counted by parts this is surely more than in my whole lab. Love the big 10mm LEDs and feel the need to order some.
Sounds like you should build a pick-and-place machine for these SMD parts.
Dental probing poking tool thing = spudger.
Wow, that is amazing. Thanks Joey. You are going to keep our guy busy for a while. Good luck Mr. Stuff, I hope you find some good use for that pile. Take care.
Pile of Stuff LED Warehouse, where you get LEDs by the kilo. A box maked with that and 2 keys of blue won't have a problem shipping into the US. When can I put in my first order?😂
Well, time to build a few BigClive super computers.
😆😆😆😆😆My storage problem is not with small things like that but the bigger stuff yeah
The name "PileOfStuff" is starting to make sense now. Good on ya, Joey!

I'm still a bit overwhelmed. Not entirely sure what I'm going to so with most of this stuff yet. Too many possibilities
Pl9823 8mm are listed as ws2812b but instead of the normal GRB it's the RGB line you uncomment. Make sure you solder the flash chips onto the teensy 4.1 board before the legs and the ethernet kit is also a dmx controller

For labeling all my stuff i got a fancy tiny thermal label printer. And I got some cheap labels in various sizes. I labelled some of things, but I struggle with software solution for categorising, sorting and searching for what I need. For now I try to use spreadsheet, because software for labels can import xls files and almost automatically print in batches.
