Bro. Charles I. Brown passed away in December 1981. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. found out through genealogy where he was and still laid to rest in a cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. This information was found in January of 2017. I am a member/Brother of the PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, INC.

Happy Founders day! Quick questions: I know pledging as we know it became illegal in the early 90's, I believe 91 or 92 but when did it begin? When was the first "line"? Did the founders pledge anyone? When did stepping come about? When did the cane or paddle come into play? Thanks for sharing.

My teacher showed me this video last year in 6th grade he was in fi beta sigma 🙁
Nice video but some of the history is wrong. Our First Alumni Chapter was founded in 1911 in Louisville. So how can you be the first to est an Alumni Chapter when your Alpha Chapter was founded the same year we founded our First Alumni Chapter. A little confused but overall great video

@babyboy-The Temptations were honorarily inducted into Phi Beta Sigma in 1977. Original members Otis Williams and Melvin Franklin were among them.
