As a child and teenager during the 60's and 70's, I loved watching the Globetrotters whenever they appeared on ABC's Wide World of Sports. Meadowlark was always my favorite...though I loved the whole team. What a remarkable gathering of talent they were during that time, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been witness to them at what might have been the height of their world-wide popularity. Thank you Meadowlark, for the incalculable happiness that you brought to everyone during your time here on Earth, and thanks to you, Mr. Winder, for putting together such a great remembrance of this truly legendary and truly loved man.

Met him when my daughter was in Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA and he was making the rounds, visiting the kids that were inpatients. I was still shell-shocked (they were suspecting that my daughter had a brain tumor...luckily, it turned out to be something much less threatening), but he was understanding and gave us a signed basketball. Good guy.

I was only going to 'sneak-a-peek' at this, but, once it started, the smile only face got stuck, and I couldn't take my eyes off it, and the happy feeling these men - yourself included - is still with me. Yes, I too was saddened to hear about Mr. Lemon (always loved his name), and, I came hear to see something - a totem, as it were, and I'm so happy I did. Laughter doesn't have a colour, and doesn't need a translation. A very happy, healthy new years,to you, and all the Harlem Globetrotters, past, present, and forever.

He's great at those made distances basket shots and etc like he can run good enough and take a leap and flight upwards towards the basket and then just throw the ball up when he comes lower from being up and make a basket shot. Wilt mentions him the most amazing basketball player but to me there's many but not many a lot of the number of basketball players that plays for the pros.
