A History of Islam in India (in 40 Minutes) | Dr. Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera

Ойын-сауық

Islam is India's second-largest religion, with approx 20% of the country's population, approximately 200 million people identifying as adherents of Islam.
Islam spread in Indian communities along the Arab coastal trade routes in Gujarat and along the Malabar Coast shortly after the religion emerged in the Arabian Peninsula. Islam arrived in the inland of Indian subcontinent in the 7th century when the Arabs conquered Sindh and later arrived in Punjab and North India in the 12th century via the Ghaznavids and Ghurids conquest and has since become a part of India's religious and cultural heritage.

The scope of output sheikh has is truly incredible SubhanAllah. Just think he is actively teaching postgraduate students in specialist fields of Aqeeda, Tafsir, Hadith, Usul, Ifta and more. On top his Tazkiya circles week in week out. The subject matters he's spoke on is just bewildering. May Allah continue to bless him and us through his tutolage.

The number of books he's written, revised and edited alongside these responsibilities just leaves a standard and level that towers so high leaving quite a goal for anyone willing to follow.

@@jawharamumin8208 no offense i didnt mean he didnt do any justice to the topic. But i was thinking that the topic was islam in india and we all know that aurangazeb (rh) was not only a king but he was very close to islamic knowledge that he brought forward the work Fatawa al Hindiyya. Just my thoughts, leave them as it is.

Sylhet has ALOT of Muslims who descend from Turks from Central Asia, Afghan Pashtuns, Persians from Iran. Prior to Islam Sylhet had waves of pre-Islamic migration from Afghanistan, Scythians, Huns, Aryans, Tibeto-Burmese and Dravidian populations.

With respect, it’s not “Chandi ckoke” it is Chandani Choke. Chandi means silver snd chandani means moonlight. Choke is square. So the famous place in Delhi is “Moonlight Square” i.e Chandani Choke in Urdu.

In an insult to the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in the series “The Ottomans”, which were made by Netflix in the Hindi dubbing, which came down a while ago, the last episode or the one before it, when the Sultan talks about the hadith of conquering constantinople instead of saying prophet said to us he says the priest told us, we should not be silent about this.
