I really think it’s possible that they use saquan in the tush push role instead of hurts to try and preserve hurts. Miles sanders and swift weren’t powerful enough to be able to. But I think a reason they wanted saquan was because he could

I would be hella shocked if Saquon tore up the NFL. His ankle injuries have taken away his explosiveness. He can still get a 20-30 yd run, but he can't break the 50-70 yarders anymore. Along with reduced catches and end zone opportunities

5:18 You don't know if the Jets offence will be better? It was historically bad last year. It was extremely impressive to produce in that offence at all. It's not only that rodgers comes back (which is a radical improvement even if he is just below average), they also improved their o-line significantly. Seemed to be a point you just made for your argument without any reason behind it tbh.

I think people will be terribly disappointed about Achane within 2 years.. no shot I'm putting him in the top 10.. he's never going to be a workhorse and I'm not sure he can stay healthy.. it will be interesting to see where Achane is ranked 2 years from now

  • @-alostsoul-6902

    @-alostsoul-6902

    Ай бұрын

Agreed, but injury and workload aren't even my biggest reason for thinking Achane might disappoint this season. It's that he took the league by surprise last year. No one was ready for the combo of what he brought to that offense. This year the league has experience and tape on Achane and defenses will be preparing for him much more thoroughly. He's still insanely fast and has talent but eventually the NFL always finds ways to scheme for players. And then injury and workload come into question after that for me. I'm not fully fading him necessarily but my expectations are definitely lower than where he's currently being ranked

    @-alostsoul-6902

@@hunterhake5056 It's the scheme for sure and it is hard to stop, but my point is that last year most teams were primarily scheming to try and stop Tyreek and the passing game, and then Achane came out of left field like a knockout sucker punch surprise. This year teams will probably gameplan primarily around keeping Achane in check as much as if not more so than Hill, so other guys in the offense might still eat big; Hill, Waddle, Jonnu, Mostert or Wright but Achane might have a harder time finding the same sort of homerun opportunities imo

Where is Warren? -Super Efficient on an offense that could/should get better -Arthur Smith is coming in Who uses Back heavily and in creative ways -Najee's 5th year didnt get picked up. This is a guy who finished RB 22 on 148 carries. Ran the ball at a 5.2ypc clip. He had 3 finishes outside of the top 30 (33, 33, 35) - If you watch this kid run it's pretty simple to see he creates yards on his own. (analytics back this, he finish #1 in Broken tackle per attempt last year, #1 in missed tackles forced per attempt last year, 3rd in Yards over expected per attempt. -Look he may not be a top 10 back ever. but he is in my opinion a perfect RB2/3 on a team loaded elsewhere

@@tylerjohnston5845 I’ll be honest I think you have some more learning to do about the position especially in terms of utilizing micro movements to manipulate defenders. Love Warren. No disrespect to him he makes a great counter punch in styles to punish over pursuit/over aggressive defenses. He succeeds as a slash. It’s similar to the Tony Pollard/Zeke argument that happened for years. Warren at the goal line is not the play though because all the defense have to do is crash down on the gaps. He is so quick and explosive it sometimes sets his offensive lineman up for failure when a bit more patience is required for that aspect of the game. Like I said they make a great counter punch in tandem but you do need both styles or Warren’s game becomes incredibly inefficient.

Thinking JT is going to flirt with Henry type of upside is foolish. Anthony Richardson will steal goal line touches. Now maybe the offense is more potent and can make up for that but Derrick Henry Titans never had a goal line threat like A Rich and quietly I could see him throw a bunch of inside the 5 TD’s too given Pittman,Adonai,Downs,Jelani Woods, Mo Allie Cox etc. they are built big and that offense is anything but one dimensional. The comp just doesn’t hold up. Great show though. Also speaking of Titans 2 if you are way to low on Spears
